I’m also told that Darren Bailey may also be there as well, schedule permitting.
Bailey, of course, is challenging incumbent Congressman Mike Bost in the Republican primary election. Bost claims “no one is a stronger supporter on guns than Mike Bost” but when he went to Washington and drank the DC Swampwater, he started supporting some gun control. With the primary election right around the corner, Mr. Bost doesn’t like it that he’s being reminded of his support for gun control.
Poor thing. Bless his little heart.
I say it’s intimate, because the venue, “Venue 1929” only holds about 100-ish people.
Admission is typically $50. HOWEVER, last night one of the local organizers spoke at our Guns Save Life meeting at SCHEELS and made a great offer: Guns Save Life members can come for free. Mention you’re a GSL member (you might need to show a membership card) and they’ll let you in free. If you can make a donation, great. If not, that’s okay. (Don’t be a cheapskate! If you can afford it, flip them a couple of twenties for what they’re trying to do.)
