Can you imagine, giving management some feedback on unsatisfactory service and not one, not two, but THREE store staffers pull guns?  What, do they think they’re the Sgt. Sugarcookie brigade or something?

From News5Cleveland:

Three Dunkin’ employees in Texas were arrested after police say they threatened a customer with guns.

The El Paso Police Department reports that officers responded to a Dunkin’ location earlier this month after someone reported that an individual had a gun.

When officers arrived, they learned a woman and her boyfriend had gone through the drive-thru to order doughnuts. The woman told police that she asked to speak to a manager after the employee was being “rude.” She added that the person on the other end of the intercom responded with explicit language, telling her that he was the manager.

As the woman drove to the window, police say three Dunkin’ employees walked out of the store to confront the customers.

Someone’s gonna get shot if this isn’t nipped in the bud.

Fortunately it looks as though it was.

The department added that one of the employees chambered a round in his pistol and pointed the gun at the 41-year-old man, saying, “Y’all gonna die tonight.”

The incident ended with no injuries and police being called.

The workers, ages 17, 19 and 20, were arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Their bond was set at $100,000.

A representative for Dunkin’ told Scripps News that employees have been fired and the franchise is “fully cooperating with police.”

Imagine the lucky personal injury attorney who gets the couple to sign on the dotted line for a contract to sue Dunkin’ Donuts for emotional distress after that?

MEAL TEAM 6.

Free tip for the 17, 19 and 20-year-old Dunkin’ staffers who think they’re MEAL TEAM 6:  Most of the folks I call friends would try to de-escalate or unass the area.  But if those aren’t feasible options, they’ll go to guns.  And I gotta tell ya, you Dunkers are gonna need about a dozen more pistol packing chuckleheads and it might be something approaching a fair fight.

Future warning label required on Dunkin’ coffee cups as part of the court settlement (i.e. McD’s hot coffee). “Caution: Hot Lead May Accompany Coffee.”
