Today’s story comes from KOMO, even though it reads like it comes from the Babylon Bee.  Seattle’s Chief of Police Adrian Diaz might better be known as “Chief Woke for Brains.”   KOMO reports the chief saying it’s “unacceptable” how many rounds bad guys are firing at crime scenes.  Because, you know, they should be more judicious in taking shots, right?

Hey Chief: these things happen when Glock “Switches” are the status symbol for gang members.  And when you don’t prosecute bad boys and girls.  But Seattle residents are getting the government they voted into office.

From KOMO:

The Seattle Police Department (SPD) said it found five guns over the course of hours spent processing the scene of a mass shooting at a hookah lounge on Sunday, according to Chief of Police Adrian Diaz.

Diaz said the city is seeing a drop in the total number of shootings this summer but a spike in the number of shots fired at each incident. It’s a trend he described as “unacceptable,” and one the city is working to tackle at the state and local level.

Neighbors were horrified to hear a 22-year-old man, a 32-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman were killed in the shooting around 4:30 a.m. Sunday in south Seattle.

How could three people be killed in gang violence in Seattle?  They passed a whole slew of new gun control in the past two or three years!

Gun control couldn’t have failed, again, could have it?

Diaz claims the department is looking into safe storage laws and other avenues to get guns out of the hands of people who are a danger to themselves or others.

Leave it to Chief Woke For Brains to suggest doing more of the same (gun control) will somehow turn things around.

Worked for Gavin Newsom in California.

Oh wait.  California now leads the nation in shooting sprees!

That’s what happens when gun control disarms the law-abiding, leaving only criminals with guns.  How silly of me.
