A 39-year-old South Florida man who is an ardent anti-gunner was sentenced last week to 15 months in federal prison and one year of probation for threatening U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colorado, in a series of social media posts that targeted the Congresswoman for her strong Second Amendment support.
In 2021, Matthew Lee Comiskey sent five threatening tweets to Boebert that mentioned firearms and encouraged readers to do her harm. Comiskey originally faced five counts of making an interstate threat but pleaded guilty last year to one count.
There wasn’t much doubt about the threatening nature of Comiskey’s tweets . . .

Boebert’s pro-gun credentials are well known.
Before the 36-year-old conservative was elected to Congress in 2020, she owned Shooter’s Grill, a Western-themed restaurant in her hometown of Rifle, Colorado, where staff openly carried firearms.
Boebert has earned A-ratings from Gun Owners of America, the National Shooting Sports Foundation and the National Rifle Association. In Congress, she is a member of the Freedom Caucus and the Second Amendment Caucus.
During his sentencing last week at the Paul G. Rogers federal courthouse in West Palm Beach, Florida, Comiskey told the court he let his “personal emotions get in the way of my common sense.”
His mother told the court that her son’s actions were “out of character.”
U.S. District Judge Robin L. Rosenberg rejected Comiskey’s requests for a shorter prison sentence or home confinement.
Threatening a duly elected Congressperson, isn’t that TREASON, TERRORISM, AND/OR INSURRECTION??! Why is this pathetic pile of scum not facing a firing squad?
His mommy says it is “out of character”? Don’t bet on that, mentally disturbed anti-firearms vermin only show their true character when they “feel” they truly “feel” they have the power of a firearm to use to destroy someone’s life that they do not agree with.
Over and over again we see examples of Marxist liberal filth resorting to violence in both words and actions. Look at the scum known as Antifa, the terrorists who attack pro life centers, the sick trans maniac woman that shot up a school, The dress wearing leftist mass murderer who shot up a parade, and on and on. Illinois is loaded with sick in the head “progressives” that will gladly hurt someone to purge some of their hate and frustration. Always be ready.
These people really do want us dead. They see us as an existential threat which is many times more dangerous than criminals. It was hard for me to believe this for a long time because I never have wished anyone ill. Leave me alone and I will leave you alone.

An anti-gunner who threatens violence using a firearm? I smell bullshit. A 39 year-old perhaps living with his mother, seems a decent deduction. The profile sounds more like an antifa member. Another case of the press running cover for a real domestic terrorist?
Had he made the same threat against a rabid anti-gun piece of trash like Durbin, he would be doing 20 years.

That looks like Mary Miller in the picture with Boebert. She has been quite a pleasant surprise so far as a pro-gunner. She is very responsive to inquiries and appears to be ardently pro-gun / pro-Constitution. Not what I usually expect from an Illinois republican.
