That’s right, folks.
96% of Americans do NOT believe additional gun control is the nation’s most important problem. Just a fringe group of about 4% have the misguided belief that recreating past tyrannies is the most pressing issue for America.
The top five most important issues:
Economy in general 24%
Unemployment/Jobs 18%
Dissatisfaction with Government 16%
Federal budget deficit/Federal debt 11%
Healthcare 6%
What’s more, since February 2013, support for gun control has plummeted 50%!
Interest in passing gun control has plummeted in the U.S. Senate as well as Harry Reid and company are thus far unable to come up with the required 60 votes to move gun control to the U.S. House for consideration.
We should know, perhaps as soon as today, if gun control supporters in the Senate can muster the votes to pass this bad bill. If not, it looks as though anti-gun bills in Congress are dead, despite Obama’s best efforts.
