New Orleans ISIS Terror Incident May Have Routed Through Biden Border

Welcome 2025. First news of the day was the overnight attack in New Orleans down in the French Quarter at the intersection of Bourbon and Canal streets- the most frequented area of the Quarter.

Apparently a truck sped into the crowd about 0315 hrs- no barriers closed off the French Quarter for New Years according to some cell phone videos I saw this morning.

In anti-terror lingo, this is a vehicle ramming attack or vehicle as a weapon (VAW). This is a trademark ISIS attack which were pushed to fanatics world wide by them as far back as 2010 . VAW allows dramatic body counts and headlines especially in civilized nations where the terrorists can’t easily obtain weapons or explosives to carry out attacks.

The Mayor of New Orleans said it was a terrorist incident, with the driver deliberately driving into the crowds at a high rate of speed. Police shot at the vehicle, and the driver emerged and shot into the crowds and wounded two police officers. Current count as of noon today is 10 dead and 35 injured and the driver was shot dead by police heroes.

Our other heroes, the FBI, swooped in and at least one agent told local media “It’s not a terror incident.” The Mayor disagreed. A bit later in the morning the FBI is now “officially” calling it a terror incident and they are investigating with the help of New Orleans PD and Homeland Security. When the FBI calls it terror or domestic terror they take total control of the investigation, all reporting and public information at time  and very little information gets published when people really deserve transparent information.

The timing of this incident is of course quite topical. J. Biden is theoretically still in charge of the border, and the actor(s) probably took advantage of this instead of waiting another 26 days with the new guy takes over and the new Border Czar has announced they will no longer be soft pedaling anything connected to the border.

Media has found out there is at least one IED in or on the truck, and the FBI said they are looking at it. No mention of BATF, you know, the agency that handles bombs and such? I am sure ATF is on scene with their Render Safe agents- but so will the FBI. This is yet another duplicitous government tradition. Despite the ATF charter, the FBI has their own bomb unit and calls down the headlines. There have been calls in the past to just eliminate ATF and let the FBI be in charge of everything- which they often claim anyway. FBI vs ATF is a good place to start that DOGE analysis of repetitive and wasteful government spending.

FBI did mention Homeland Security however. This has rather quickly been tied to reporting the suspect vehicle had a Texas license plate and was smuggled through Eagle Pass TX couple days ago as reported by Fox News. Wonder how they know about this vehicle being smuggled across instead of and official crossing? Now Fox and Newsmax have said the truck was driven through Eagle Pass, TX on NOV 16, 2024 by someone not the driver.

By 11 AM CST pictures started coming across of the deceased driver. Swarthy, bearded male in camos. Oh, and he had an ISIS flag. Yeah, those guys. They were pretty much on the ropes until mega funded by Joe Biden and Obama, and good ole Uncle Joe left them 300,000 American weapons when he pulled us out of Afghanistan. How much money? NBC News in 2023 cited a SIGAR report of $8 billion U.S. dollars going into Afghanistan in “Aid” since 2021 which they believe goes straight to ISIS, Al-Qaeda and the Taliban. Osama Bin Laden’s son Hamza Bin Laden, previously declared dead, has been found recently to not only be alive- he is running the very active Afghan based Al-Qaeda which has trained up 50,00 to 70,000 terror soldiers in the last three years with a big global terror view similar to Hamza’s daddy Osama. 

Seems some of those chickens have come home to roost.

By noon, the suspect’s name Shamsud Dim Jabbar, age 42, was released by law enforcement as the driver/attacker and he was a Texas resident with two misdemeanor criminal charges “many years ago”. Fox News is claiming Jabbar did not work alone and four to five others are thought to be involved in the attack. Even the FBI is admitting there are more people involved and asks the public’s help to identify them.  Well there goes the old “Lone Wolf Attacker Profile” down the drain.  The truck was supposedly rented and the driver would need a support team to get across the border, or if he did not cross this week, someone else had to get the truck across and help getting a firearm and assemble an IED. Even suicidal Jihadists don’t want to drive a live bomb across the bottom of the Rio Grande and then another 743 miles to New Orleans. They had to stage the attack from somewhere, and he was not a New Orleans resident.  Newsmax is reporting an AR-15 style rifle and a handgun were seized at the scene. 

Following the Western anti-terror efforts against the ISIS self proclaimed Caliphate,  they had to reorganize into smaller units and cells. This looks like it may be one of those units. How much direction, funding and support from overseas went into this attack will vex the FBI and intel agencies for quite a while.

This is an awful terrorist attack, and will have multiple meanings and far flung impacts in the American homeland. How will Sleepy Joe respond? Will somebody wake him up so he can make a speech that doesn’t mention the border or seem to take any responsibility? What has Joe been doing with his post election days besides commuting murderer sentences… oh yeah this week he announced $2.5 Billion more going to Ukraine. Oh and don’t get me started on the “Border Czar” VP Harris. Fail. Fail. Fail.

The new guy can’t get here soon enough.
