Kaepernick gets sacked

Dylan Gwinn writes at Breitbart:

Until now, they had chosen silence over public support. However, Colin Kaepernick’s parents have broken their silence, saying their son has taken on an “immense load,” in standing for what he believes in, and they feel “very proud” about the stand he has taken.

In a statement to ESPN’s culture site, The Undefeated, Rick and Teresa Kaepernick wrote, “Colin is carrying a heavy load and following a difficult path that he truly believes in. He is putting his entire future and possibly his life on the line for those beliefs. As his parents, it pains us to read articles and tweets saying that his family does not support him; this could not be further from the truth. We want people to know that we are very proud of our son and admire his strength and courage in kneeling for the rights of others.”

Do his parents really believe Colin Kaepernick is putting his life on the line for his beliefs?  If so, they've been listening to leftist radicals for far too long.  If gun owners were half as violent as the anti-gun radicals claim we are, logic dictates there would be no more anti-gun radicals!

And kneeling for the rights of others?  Wow.  That's quite a sacrifice, Mr. Attention Whore.

The family’s statement concluded, “When Colin first ‘took a knee’, his family was as surprised as anyone. We did not understand why he was doing this and were overwhelmed with the public reaction and hate. Colin not only received terrible racist tweets, but also received letters directly to our home similar to that recently received by [Denver Broncos linebacker] Brandon Marshall. We were truly shocked at the amount of racist hatred out there! Until this had occurred, we had naively believed that the racial atmosphere in this country was far better than it actually is.

And then there's this meme floating around social media:

That's some pretty idyllic talk from Kaepernick, considering the NFL fined him for calling a Chicago Bear player a "f****g n****r" in a heated moment on the field just this year.

  1. Wow, that's really a lot of courage to do down on a knee for the "rights of others."

How about putting on a military uniform if your goal is to fight for the rights of others?

    Piece of trash.

And the 49ers are what, 1-11 or something like that. Only fitting.

  2. There are far more people of color fighting and dying with the flag on their right sleeve to preserve the freedom to disrespect them than there are scum protesting all of us.

This guy needs perspective, maybe he needs to do to daesh controlled areas, third world cesspools and leftist nirvanas to see the truths of oppression.  F-him and his entitlement mentality making millions to play a game while real men and women earn less than 30k to fight for his rights.

  3. Throught history people down on one or both knees got shot in the back of the head. Not a position of strength to present your point or problem.

  4. wonder what else he gets on his knees for? looks like a terrorist too me, gee must be nice putting your life on the line for the big bucks! quit your whining, do something constructive, clear a mine field, clear a drug house, hell he wouldn’t make a pimple on a real mans ass.
