Pushback to Obama’s threats of enacting gun bans

In Wyoming, several legislators have introduced legislation that would protect firearms in the state of Wyoming, according to K2 Radio.

The first bill, a mere three pages in length, has already been introduced!

Sponsored by: KROEKER
AN ACT relating to firearms; providing that any federal law which attempts to ban a semi-automatic firearm or to limit the size of a magazine of a firearm or other limitation on firearms in this state shall be unenforceable in Wyoming; providing a penalty; and providing for an effective date.
Anyone seeking to enforce a federal firearm ban would be guilty of a felony with a minimum mandatory one year prison term.

NRA experiences unprecedented growth

Meanwhile, the NRA is busy processing over 100,000 new memberships in a little over two weeks, according to numbers released to the Politico.
The National Rifle Association has gained more than 100,000 new members in the past 18 days, the organization told POLITICO’s Playbook on Thursday.

NRA says White House has agenda to attack the Second Amendment

Well, duh!

Fairfax, Va. (NRA-ILA) The National Rifle Association of America is made up of over 4 million moms and dads, daughters and sons, who are involved in the national conversation about how to prevent a tragedy like Newtown from ever happening again.  We attended today’s White House meeting to discuss how to keep our children safe and were prepared to have a meaningful conversation about school safety, mental health issues, the marketing of violence to our kids and the collapse of federal prosecutions of violent criminals.

We were disappointed with how little this meeting had to do with keeping our children safe and how much it had to do with an agenda to attack the Second Amendment.  While claiming that no policy proposals would be “prejudged,” this Task Force spent most of its time on proposed restrictions on lawful firearms owners – honest, taxpaying, hardworking Americans.  It is unfortunate that this Administration continues to insist on pushing failed solutions to our nation’s most pressing problems.  We will not allow law-abiding gun owners to be blamed for the acts of criminals and madmen.  Instead, we will now take our commitment and meaningful contributions to members of congress of both parties who are interested in having an honest conversation about what works – and what does not.

Gun owners:  Share the fun and excitement of firearm ownership with young people.  Guns are cool.  Guns are hip.

If they weren’t, they wouldn’t be so prominently displayed in movies and television!

Don’t let a bunch of communists take away the guns you use to defend your home and family from violent attack!

Don’t doubt that Obama and his friends aren’t trying to recreate past tyrannies.

  1. I saw a bit of the lamestream news tonight, and I heard one reporter talk about the “powerful” NRA, and he used a perjorative tone when saying that.

The reason the NRA is “powerful” is because it’s US. It’s not Soros writing a big check and hiring a lobbyist, a storefront, and a few mailroom people. It’s MILLIONS of US, making our voice heard.

If you’re not a member, JOIN.

  2. No – seriously … JOIN NOW if you are not a member. There’s just no excuse for a gun owner to not join. $25 is less than a couple boxes of ammo. Check out any and all criticism of them at the door (they compromise too much, they don’t compromise enough, I don’t like Wayne’s tie, etc.) They aren’t perfect, but they are what stands between total gun bans and retaining our rights. Freedom-minded non-gun owners should join too.

I’ve been conducting a little membership drive at work and I’ve already got 6 new annual members and one new life member to sign up this weekend. Beat the bushes folks, it’s never been more important!

  3. That sounds fair to me on the, Two can play: WY proposes gun protection. I wouldn’t mind seeing Obama, Biden, Quinn, etc in cuffs being marched into lock up on a felony offense against law abiding gun owners. For attempting to destroy the 2nd amendment rights of law abiding citizens only because we want the right to protect ourselves and our love ones and our property.
I am proud member of the NRA, and a new member of the GSL.
I am just as proud that we can all stick together, clubs, individuals, men, women, black, white.
