Stand your ground: Who benefits most? The answer might surprise you.

July 21, 2013

Marissa Alexander.

(Daily Caller) – African Americans benefit from Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” self-defense law at a rate far out of proportion to their presence in the state’s population, despite an assertion by Attorney General Eric Holder that repealing “Stand Your Ground” would help African Americans.

Black Floridians have made about a third of the state’s total “Stand Your Ground” claims in homicide cases, a rate nearly double the black percentage of Florida’s population. The majority of those claims have been successful, a success rate that exceeds that for Florida whites.

But that doesn’t stop the race baiters, bigots, black supremacists and other idiots from self-identifying with their ignorant remarks:

Nonetheless, prominent African Americans including Holder and “Ebony and Ivory” singer Stevie Wonder, who has vowed not to perform in the Sunshine State until the law is revoked, have made “Stand Your Ground” a central part of the Trayvon Martin controversy.

Stevie Wonder…  he wouldn’t know Florida if he saw it.

Yeah, that was mean.

And guess whose name pops up in this story:

The best known African American associated with Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” law is Marissa Alexander, who was prevented from invoking the law after firing a warning shot to protect herself from her abusive ex-husband. Alexander, who had no prior criminal record, was sentenced to 20 years in prison, and her case has become an important cause for supporters of the law. Alexander was prosecuted by Angela Corey, the same state attorney who lost the Zimmerman case.

For Alexander I worry. She should have used the mr F-Bomb balloon blow hole Biden self defense idea, but she didn’t have a shotgun to shoot through the top of the door. Now the AINO (American In Name Only) John McCain suggests reviewing the stand your ground law in AZ. All the Princesses & Princes of the progressives what all of us in Florida to be like the electric rabbit at the Greyhound track. Real world, not all can “run away” without a protective detail around us giving us cover.
