SOMEONE NOTICED THE RACISM: A reader calls *us* racist for reprinting a Moms Demand Action promo piece

Last month, on page 24 of GunNews, we ran what purports to be a Moms Demand Action promotional ad advocating people “Demand Universal Background Checks NOW!” One reader noticed the racist message contained within. But instead of directing his anger towards Bloomberg’s “Everytown” organization and its subsidiary, Moms Demand Action, 20-year-old Eastern IL University...

TERRIFYING HOME INVASIONS STILL HAPPEN: Tough guys pick wrong house in Arlington Heights, IL [VIDEO]

America’s criminals must appreciate government recommendations for folks to wear masks in public now. It helps the bad guys conceal their identity and doesn’t raise suspicion during a pandemic. The National Rifle Association has felt the pain of the Wuhan virus pandemic. Bigly. The Virginia-based gun rights operation has reportedly laid off 60 employees and slashed salaries of plenty more. Supposedly the group’s leader, Mr. $20,000 suits himself, Wayne LaPierre would also take a cut in his $2M salary. The nation’s oldest civil...

Why I’m still no fan of Appendix Carry

April 9, 2020

I know appendix carry enjoys increasing popularity among a lot of people including a good number of younger shooters. It also seems to be the choice of many keyboard commandos who want to be just like their heroes in the gun community. To say nothing of the folks who think they can buy skills...

SCHADENFREUDE: ‘The Hunt’ re-release a total disaster for Universal Studios & Blumhouse Productions

April 8, 2020

Sometimes you just have to take a nice drink of schadenfreude and smile.  Last Fall, Universal Studios pulled the Blumhouse Productions flick “The Hunt” where liberal elites hunt so-called deplorables for sport and fun. Yes, the Blumhouse flick featured cultured “progressive” types hunting people like GSL members. But after some high profile spree killings...

PULMONOLOGIST DR. DAVID PRICE: Don’t panic. Wash your hands and don’t touch your face.

Become a “hand nazi” and you won’t get this disease, says a NYC Doc in the middle of the Chinese virus outbreak.  And don’t touch your face. Always know where your hands are and carry your hand sanitizer with you, on your person.   Touch something?  Purell. And masks help get you out of the...

DAY 13: While the Criminals get released, the law-abiding get guns

April 2, 2020

Day 13 of Illinois’ “Stay At Home” order.  Guns Save Life watches as more and more governments release criminals – including violent criminals – from jails and prisons.  At the same time, more and more law-abiding residents are reacting to uncertainty (and the release of prisoners onto the streets) by buying guns to protect...

DAY 11: WEAR YOUR N95 MASKS.

March 31, 2020

Political reasons probably account for why the Journal of the American Medical Association loves to print junk science when it comes to guns.  But when it comes to real medicine, they have some relevant and scientifically sound content. So, reading their very recent (as in last Thursday, March 26th) story about Turbulent Gas Clouds...
