Don’t sit on the sidelines! Get involved and make a difference!

By John Naese If you’re a shooter or a gun owner, you should belong to several gun organizations. Why several? Because each serves its own purpose, and you have a different role to play in each. You can gain different benefits from membership in each one of the following three. First, if you are...

IL Democrats, the party of gun control, open new front on the war on gun owners

In a recent article, we noted that the Illinois Democratic Party has declared a jihad on America’s favorite rifle, the AR-15, and the background-checked and registered firearm owners who own them here in Illinois in a series of mailings in various legislative districts throughout Illinois.  News comes that they’ve opened a new front...

Anxiety at being unarmed and defenseless is not a disorder among sheepdogs

October 5, 2012

Armed American: Happy ending to armed robbery

The Witchita Eagle has a splendid story about a gentleman with a carry permit who used his safety rescue tool to dissuade a young thug from completing an armed robbery in front of the good guy’s business. Democrats taking fallout from war on gun owners

Days of our Trailers has a withering attack on the civil-rights hating Democratic hack Marty Moylan.  He’s going to try and ban ’50 cal machine guns’ in Illinois. Wait.  They’re already banned in this state.  What is he talking about then?  Oh right. He’s talking about semi-auto firearms like the AR-15, not ‘machine guns’....

Paul Vallandigham – A life remembered

by John Naese Paul Vallandigham was an officer and director of Guns Save Life, but he was more than that – he was one of the original founding members.  The first meeting of what eventually became Guns Save Life was in the basement of a restaurant in Rantoul in 1995.  Paul, I, and five...
