Product Review: Heater Meals

Product Review: Heater Meals

by John Boch (Guns Save Life) – I found Heater Meals at a Bass Pro store in St. Louis and was intrigued by what seemed like a “civilian” MRE entree of sorts.  The cost was about $6 or so, or about the price of a real, full MRE without the military look.  This product...

Wounded Warrior massive FAIL on Gun Talk Radio

November 18, 2012

Steven Nardizzi, the $319k/year Executive Director of Wounded Warrior Project, fumbled badly out of the gate in his efforts to diffuse the brouhaha over his group’s refusal to participate on Gun Talk Radio last weekend on Veteran’s Day. The whole disaster was spurred when their communications director declined the invitation to promote WWP...

ICHV has meager turnout at first downstate IL grassroots organizational meeting

by John Boch Champaign, IL (Guns Save Life) – The Illinois Council Against Handgun Violence had their first meeting in Champaign as they try to organize a grassroot group of gullible, but well-meaning citizens to advocate against their own civil rights. A few Philly cops are boorish bullies with badges

Common sense would dictate that after the Philadephia police department paid out $25,000 last year in a pre-trial settlement for violating a gun owner’s civil rights, that members of the department would have gotten the proverbial memo not to do such silliness. Apparently a few of them follow the lead of their rabidly...

FIGHTING TWO BATTLES

by John Naese Gunowners, particularly active and energetic gunowners like those who read GunNews and join GunsSaveLife.com, often get weary of the battle against the “forces of darkness” – the anti-gun crowd. It seems that no matter how many battles we win, the other side just keeps coming back, like one of those knock...

Wounded Warrior backpedals, to appear on Gun Talk Radio Sunday

Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) is in full damage-control mode as gun owners from across America are expressing outrage at the manner with which the WWP’s public relations director Leslie Coleman dismissively rejected an invitation for Wounded Warrior Project to appear on the nationally-syndicated Gun Talk Radio hosted by Tom Gresham on Veteran’s Day...

Britain’s gun phobia: Sentences war hero to 18 months for a Glock

November 15, 2012

This is so pathetic. I carry one of these every day and have another in the back of my vehicle and a few more here and there around the house. And Great Britain sentences one of their finest troops to 18 months for bringing home a war trophy Glock. Her Majesty should be ashamed...

The Girlie Gun

The Girlie Gun

by Chris Sullins (GunNews) – The women in my family don’t like shooting as a recreational sport or hobby.  They all know how to operate various weapons and some are naturals with pistols, but they don’t go to the range for fun. As far as tactical weapons go, the loud crack from a semi-automatic...
