As I wrote the earlier post Sunday, I cited a story by CNN. Then I saw this story. CNN, the “mostly peaceful protests” news channel, they’ve fallen on hard times. Well all know how CNN has struggled for years now, even before they paid public accommodations to play their network on TV screens.
Well, it looks like the chickens have come home to roost. CNN’s implosion appears imminent. And more cuts are coming – to big names too. Maybe they can learn to code as celebs.
Or maybe work in a coal mine.
What will we ever do without Anderson Cooper, Wolf Blitzer, Jim Acosta, David Axelrod, Christiane Amanpour, Poppy Harlow, Jake Tapper and Chris Wallace! Don’t forget Fareed Zakaria, Jim Sciutto, Van Jones, John King, SE Cupp and Dana Bash.

CNN Appears on the Verge of an Epic Collapse
CNN has been desperately treading water for years now. The former king of cable news has been bleeding ratings for years, with Fox News typically topping all the networks night after night. CNN still fancies itself the “most trusted name in news,” yet, even former CEO Chris Licht admitted last year that that trust — assuming at one point they actually had it — is long gone and they need to restore it. He didn’t last long.
The problem, of course, is that CNN claims to be fair and without bias, yet anti-conservative views have long been part of its DNA, as the network’s on-air talent routinely bases its reports on Democratic Party talking points. Even token conservatives on the network are a joke, and sound more like liberal pundits.
The struggling network is now desperately trying to get out of its death spiral, and step one is to cut costs by axing the remaining big name talents who have extremely large salaries.
New CEO Mark Thompson is preparing ruthless cuts to remake the network as ratings plunge — leaving Anderson Cooper, Chris Wallace, Wolf Blitzer and Jake Tapper facing dates with the axman, a source says.
“Anderson knows he’s on the chopping block because he makes a whopping $20 million a year. He’s already started looking for a new gig!” a network insider exclusively tells In Touch. “Chris Wallace takes $8 million and figures he’s a likely target, too!”
Insiders say other network favorites — including $15 million man Blitzer and $8 million gent Tapper – are also bracing for the boot!
“Everybody knows the focus is on cutting costs,” the insider continues. “No one is safe!”
That would be epic of CNN adopted the pronouns “was/were.”
I hear there’s a lot of opportunities along the border they could fill that could free-up Border Agents so they can return to enforcement activities. Meet new people, make new friends.

The “celebrity” “talking head news propagandists” listed, in my world, are unknown (to me) other than some of the names, I have no idea of their “reporting” other than as shown by Fox news hosts for parody or refutation.
Is the racist Al (not-so) Sharpton flapping his gums on CNN?, Wonder if he will be eliminated if so. I wonder about the “pensions” the over-paid propagandists have accumulated, maybe CNN can declare bankruptcy to get out of those obligations.
Send them all to the “soup kitchen”, let them see “Bribr-im-flation” (or is it Bribe-im-omics) first hand!
