Our December sequence of meetings kicks off tonight in Springfield at the Air Combat Museum.
Monday we’ll meeting in Springfield at the Air Combat Museum. Bring your friends, neighbors and kids to see these incredible displays! Bring an extra folding chair or lawn chair as we only have about 100 chairs set up and last month we had over 130 in attendance. We expect even more tonight.
On Tuesday we’ll meet in Pontiac at the Pontiac Sportsmen’s Club. We will have the owner of South Post Guns to update us on some huge changes to that store. We may also have Steve Schove from Runnings store in Pontiac to tell us how the Sporting Goods / Gun department is coming along.
On Wednesday we’ll have a pair of meetings. In northern IL, we’ll have the Northwest Chicago meeting in Buffalo Grove. Meanwhile, at the same time in Central IL, we’ll meet at Coz’s Pizza in Mt. Zion for our Decatur GSL meeting.
On Thursday, join us in Peoria. The food there, like most places, is exceptional.
Then we’ll have more meetings the following week.
Here are some updates to other locations.
November / December
Sangamon County GSL will take place at the Air Combat Museum, 835 S. Airport Dr. Springfield. Bring your friends and family to see this privately owned museum and its vintage aircraft. And enjoy a great meeting. SCHEELS is unavailable to us in November and December with the holidays. Bring a folding chair or lawn chair please, just in case.
Chicagoland. Our Chicagoland chapter will not meet in November or December because of the holidays.
Quincy. Our Quincy chapter will not meet on the last Wednesday in December because of Christmas/New Year’s. We’ll return in January!
NW Chicagoland. We will meet on the FIRST Wednesday in December because of a scheduling conflict on the 2nd Wednesday.
January.
Sangamon County GSL is cancelled as it falls on New Year’s Day. Have a great Christmas and New Year’s and we’ll see you at SCHEELS on the first Monday in February.
LaSalle. We will have no meeting in January because Jamie’s Outpost is closed. We will return, probably in the last week of February. Watch GunNews and the website for updates.
