With decisions come consequences. You need another reason why you should embrace gun ownership? The increasingly radical hard-core left in America loves mob violence. Real mob violence – against not only property but people as well. It’s fascism: suppressing those with opposing viewpoints with violence.
This is, in my view, one of the reasons so many on the hard left oppose gun rights for the little people. You can’t employ mob violence against people who have the great equalizer.
It’s the same reason the Klan opposed gun ownership for recently freed slaves following the Civil War. It’s the same reason racists in the Civil Rights era tried to keep guns out of the hands of most blacks. Because he knew that ARMED BLACKS DON’T GET OPPRESSED.
Even into the 1960s and 1970s, racist while politicians supported laws to keep guns out of the hands of blacks. Take Chicago Mayor Richard Daley, for example. In the case of Daley, he spearheaded today’s Firearm Owner ID Card scheme to create another obstacle to law-abiding blacks becoming gun owners in his violence-ridden city.
Fast forward to present day: Former NCAA swimmer Riley Gaines spoke at San Francisco State University last night. Now, keep in mind this is San Francisco, California: Heart of the gun control beast. Good guys don’t have guns in California. Certainly not in public. And the leftie mobs know that and take advantage of that simple truth.
Gaines was invited to speak at the university. Without a doubt, she triggered the lunatic left as she spoke out against men pretending to be women competing on women’s teams at colleges. Gaines’ free speech rights were simply too much to bear for those who believe speech they disagree with is violence, and their own violence is free speech.
So these radical “heroes” not only stood outside the venue where Gaines spoke to present an alternative point of view, they stormed the building, violently attacking Gaines. This despite the police there to maintain order. Police were quickly over-run by the mob and Gaines was repeatedly punched before cops could retreat with her to a room where they locked themselves inside for nearly three hours. THREE HOURS.

Former NCAA swimmer Riley Gaines was barricaded in a room at San Francisco State University Thursday night after she was physically assaulted following a speech to students about saving women’s sports at a Turning Point USA and Leadership Institute event on the campus.
Louis Barker, Riley’s husband, said he had brief conversations with her while she was barricaded in the room for nearly three hours.
“She told me she was hit multiple times by a guy in a dress. I was shaking. It made me that mad. It makes me sick to feel so helpless about it,” Barker said. “She was under police protection and was still hit by a man wearing a dress.”
On Twitter, Gaines shared footage she took showing her being rushed out of the venue by police officers amid an onslaught of verbal attacks from the detractors who surrounded her.
“The prisoners are running the asylum at SFSU…I was ambushed and physically hit twice by a man,” Gaines wrote in the tweet. “This is proof that women need sex-protected spaces. Still only further assures me I’m doing something right. When they want you silent, speak louder.”

Again, the radical left in America loves mob violence. Antifa, Black Lives Matter mobs, so-called “trans rights” mobs, environmental whack jobs… all of them. Their handlers don’t want the little people in America to have guns.
You can’t bully someone who can fight back.
And if the left’s politicians can disarm everyday Americans, it makes subjugating their political opponents with violence (as above with Riley Gaines in the rabidly anti-gun state of California) so much easier.
So if you value your free speech rights and don’t want to have your life threatened by a mob that feels righteous in their fascism, consider joining the gun owner community. And get yourself a self-defense insurance policy to help you get the best legal defense money can buy in case you’re forced to use deadly force against one or more bad actors threatening death or great bodily injury against you.
