Do you remember these Democrats who proudly stood up to oppose civil rights in the 1960s?

Wallace

The top photo is Democrat George Wallace, who proudly not only opposed civil rights, but physically stood in opposition to them in his defiance of orders to desegregate schools in Alabama.

The bottom photo is Democrat Bull Connor, who used his police and fire department in Birmingham, AL to deal with those advocating civil rights.

Remember this?  This was Connor’s work.

And now, Hillary Clinton proudly campaigns on a just as backward-thinking opposition to civil rights in 2016, some sixty-odd years later.

Those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it.

HRC-Tweet

What’s next, Hillary?  Are you going to campaign against First Amendment protections that don’t suit you?  Jail those who don’t subscribe to the Global Warming junk science?  We already know she wants to jail gun owners and strip our 2nd Amendment rights, the Constitution, the Supreme Court and the Rule of Law be damned.

The “Rule of Law” means nothing to fascists who want to control every aspect of your life.

What is fascism?  Per Websters:

often capitalized :  a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition

  1. Democrats have never really been friends of freedom.

The like to point their fingers at Republicans as evil tyrants, but Republicans were the ones who passed the voting rights act.

And the Dems had the Klan leader in the senate (Robert Byrd), not the Republicans.

    1. …and let’s not forget the first Republican president that presided over a civil war to deny states’ rights to enslave Africans, brought to this country by the southern democrats to work on their plantations.

  2. If Karl Rove and the Republican establishment get their way (blocking Trump and Cruz, substituting one of their own despite the very clear will of the people) then Hillary could very well win this next election.

    1. I worry that Trump could beat Hellary. Every time he opens his mouth he sounds like a wishy washy old woman.
