Hillary Clinton seems to relish running against the National Rifle Association, instead of the national disaster of Democrat Barack Obama’s presidency.

Time Magazine, for instance, wrote:

Hillary Clinton Promises to Confront the NRA Over Gun Laws

“What is wrong with us, that we cannot stand up to the NRA and the gun lobby, and the gun manufacturers they represent?” a visibly angry Clinton said.

… “Republicans keep refusing to do anything to protect our communities. They put the NRA ahead of American families,” Clinton said.

… “I don’t think they represent a majority of Americans or a majority of gun owners. They count on having a really intense dedicated group saying to politicians, ‘we will vote against you,’” Clinton said. “We’re not single-minded voters but each us of has to care about this issue. We’re going to take them on. We took them on in the 1990s and we’re going to take them on again.”

For a woman who has such memory problems recalling details of her many scandals, she’s got some pretty radical beliefs about gun owners and the NRA.

I couldn’t help by throw in the Hillary parody song.

Someone on Clinton’s staff should have told the scandal-prone Hillary this:

Despite Criticism, NRA Still Enjoys Majority Support in U.S.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Gallup) — Despite a year of blistering criticism from gun control advocates about the National Rifle Association’s hard-line stance against gun restrictions amid a spate of mass shootings nationwide, 58% in the U.S. have a favorable opinion of the NRA.

How’s that stack up, to say, Congress?

U.S. Congress and Its Leaders Suffer Public Discontent

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Gallup) –– Now on August recess, members of Congress returning to their districts may receive a skeptical reception from constituents, as 14% of U.S. adults approve of the job Congress is doing, down slightly from 17% in July.

So, the NRA has the approval of over four times as many Americans as Congress.

And how does the NRA stack up against Hillary Clinton’s own favorability?

Hillary Clinton’s Favorable Rating One of Her Worst

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Gallup)— Dogged by continued scrutiny of her email practices as secretary of state, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s favorability with the American public has sunk to one of its lowest levels in Gallup’s 23-year trend. Currently, 41% of U.S. adults say they have a favorable opinion of the Democratic front-runner, while 51% hold an unfavorable view.

Nothing like attacking those things America holds in higher regard than yourself, Hillary.

With a campaign strategy like that, Donald Trump is a shoe-in.

  1. Let’s hope the welfare class doesn’t have enough votes to put that evil witch back in the White House.

  2. The biggest joke is the “honorable” above her name.
Maybe someone just forgot, and left the “dis” off of it.

  3. I’ve read how both Hillary and Chelsea treat the Secret Service like dirt. That alone makes me detest both.

You aren’t born with those attitudes. They are learned.

  4. Bill Clinton has to be one of the toughest men ever to stay married to her.
Can anyone in their right mind blame him for seeking love in other places?

I think this has to have been an arranged marriage made by Karl Marx.

    1. The story says that 41 % have a favorable opinion of ol’ Hillarious, to me it’s obvious that they were too dumb to understand the question.

  5. 6% of Americans believe in lizzard people, so I’d expect her to have at least that much support. But 40%?

  6. Hillary is a nasty bitch, plain and simple.

I’d love to be the fly on the wall to see her temper tantrum when it becomes apparent that she’s not going to be the next president.
