Let your fingers do the walking – or swiping – to find out if a business is posted “NO GUNS” before you spend your time and money to drive to the location to do business with them.

After all, gun owners avoid spending money at businesses who discriminate against us.

Shopping at a business who opted to post that gun owners aren’t welcome makes about as much sense as slitting your own throat.

Posted! is an app available for both Android phones as well as iPhones.

Hat tip to Speed1 for this next one that’s free:

Facing a decision where to buy a big-ticket product or service?

Would finding out if they supported anti-gun activities or Common Core education initiatives or other radical left-wing agendas help in that decision-making?

If so, we’ve got good news for our smart-phone using friends:

(Daily Signal) – Before opening a new bank account, filling up your tank, shopping for groceries, purchasing a computer, booking a flight or visiting a drug store, you can now find out how those companies are spending on political causes.

Thanks to a free online app called 2nd Vote, consumers have this information at their fingertips for America’s most popular brands.

The app, which is available on Google Play and Apple’s iTunes, allows instantaneous access to a database that includes more than 400 companies. It’s the brainchild of a nonprofit based in Nashville, Tenn., which seeks to help consumers make more informed decisions.

“Conservatives need to have this information so they can hold companies accountable,” Chris Walker, executive director of 2ndVote, told The Daily Signal.  “Companies will listen, and listen very quickly and act in a meaningful way if as customers they redirect how their money is spent. The status quo is that conservatives have not engaged on this, so we can’t be surprised when all the corporate activity goes toward the left.”

  1. Add the AAA location on South Neil to those that are posted. Not only do they have the official signage, they also have another sign indicating “no weapons.”

OOPS, I forgot to remove my CC.

  2. Apps are driving me crazy. Some of us do not worshiping at the alter of a cell phone. My Jitterbug is not able to download apps. Is there a web site that does the same thing that I can look up on my laptop?

    1. Thank you Brian. I’m bookmarking the page. I hope word gets out that this web site is available and that people will add, validate, and most of all, recommend places be removed because they have taken the “NO GUNS” sign off their doors.

  3. I believe Buffalo Wild Wings has the No guns sign up, or they did. And Domino’s Pizza on Cunningham Ave Urbana has one.
