Say hello to Kendall Jones.

Kendall Jones hunts in Africa, spending big dollars to hunt big game when the 19-years-old cheerleader at Texas Tech University isn’t in school.

Her photos, posted from her hunting trips, have gone viral in social media circles, earning her lots of admiration and congratulation from well-wishers around the world.

The photos have also earned the ire and utter violent hatred of animal rights nutcases and other anti-hunting extremists – including death threats from tough-talking internet commandos.

A host of media outlets have reported this in recent days, usually with an anti-hunting, anti-Kendall Jones bias.  From the Dallas Morning News:

From the Cleburne Times-Review to the New York Daily News to Gawker — it’s been a heck of a week for 19-year-old Kendall Jones, the Cleburne native and Texas Tech University sophomore now known as “The Texas Cheerleader Famous for Killing Animals in Africa.”

Low-information types don’t understand that monies from hunters have done more for habitat that all of the well-wishes in the world.

  1. Shooting animals for food is one thing. But trophy kills are too much for me. There are better ways to finance conservation efforts.

  2. I’ll take the job of body guard.
Its ironic that its always the ‘peaceful’ anti gun nuts making all the threats of violence.

Ok…but thats a personal choice….you dont threaten a person because you dont agree with their gun or hunting views.
