God made man and woman.

Sam Colt made them equal.

When five urban thugs attacked a 77-year-old man in recent days, it was anything but a fair fight.  In fact, even if wasn’t an elderly man walking with a cane, but anyone who is attacked by a group of five people with a club and projectiles thrown at the head and neck could reasonably fear death or great bodily injury could result.

In other words, deadly force would be called for, by either the 77-year-old senior or another bystander.

It’s too bad there wasn’t a gun on the hip of this victim, or a license gun carrier close enough to make a difference in this latest wilding attack…

Pensacola, FL (News-Journal) – Four West Pensacola juveniles and a 19-year-old attacked a 77-year-old man Monday night, according to an Escambia County Sheriff’s Office news release.

Demetrius Wilson, 12, Javontae Wilson, 13, and Keyon Black, 16, are each charged with aggravated assault and aggravated battery on a person older than 65 years of age.

Alicia Wilson, 15, and Shaknee Golay, 19, are each being charged with aggravated assault on a person older than 65 years of age.

The incident happened about 9 p.m. Monday when dispatchers received a report of several teenagers chasing a man with a stick, the news release said.

The victim, John Garland Redick, encountered the teens on a boardwalk near the Big Lots parking lot at the 400 block of North Navy Boulevard and was assaulted, according to an arrest report.

Deputies arrived at the scene and observed several teenagers fleeing to the Murphy gas station nearby.

  1. I am awaiting Atty Gen Holder to announce a civil rights investigation into this matter.
