The good guys are winning this fight for our civil rights.  The evidence is everywhere!

Part of this evidence is the problems that have been snowballing for gun haters everywhere, not only in their thwarted efforts to take our gun rights away, but in their personal lives as well.

Examples you ask?

We’re glad you asked.

Mark Kelly

Diamondback Police Supply tells Mark Kelly “NO SALE” in his AR-15 purchase; donates rifle to non-profit organization and donates to Eddie Eagle

Statement of Douglas MacKinlay, Owner/President, Diamondback Police Supply Co., Inc. via Facebook.

“While I support and respect Mark Kelly’s 2nd Amendment rights to purchase, possess, and use firearms in a safe and responsible manner, his recent statements to the media made it clear that his intent in purchasing the Sig Sauer M400 5.56mm rifle from us was for reasons other then for his personal use. In light of this fact, I determined that it was in my company’s best interest to terminate this transaction prior to his returning to my store to complete the Federal From 4473 and NICS background check required of Mr. Kelly before he could take possession this firearm. A full refund was sent to Mr. Kelly, via express mail, on Thursday of last week.

The Sig Sauer rifle will be donated to the Arizona Tactical Officers Association where it will be raffled off to generate funds the association can use to purchase much needed tactical equipment for the organization’s members. The A.T.O. A. represents the SWAT and Special Response officers of the state’s law enforcement community who regularly place their lives on the line to protect the residents of this state.

Additionally, Diamondback Police Supply will make a $1295.00 contribution (the selling price of the M400 rifle) to the Eddie Eagle GunSafe Program that teaches children, in pre-K through 3rd grade, four important steps to take if they find a gun. The emphasis of the program is on child safety, something that is important to all of us and at the core of the current debate on gun control,” stated Douglas MacKinlay, Owner/President, Diamondback Police Supply Co., Inc.

Kelly’s attempt to consummate his PR stunt buying the gun going awry isn’t the least of his concerns.  Seems his daughter’s pit bull got loose and iattacked and killed a protected animal this past weekend, and it’s on video.

Authorities are mum on charges.

LAGUNA BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Gabrielle Giffords’ husband pulled his daughter’s dog off of a sea lion in Laguna Beach over the weekend.

The incident, which was captured on video, happened around 1:40 p.m. Saturday at Goff Cove Beach by the Montage Laguna Beach.

Retired astronaut Mark Kelly’s 18-year-old daughter, who was on vacation with her father and Giffords, was walking the American bulldog on a leash when the 65-pound dog saw the sea lion, ran off and attacked.

Nathan, who declined to give his last name, happened to be having lunch nearby when he started to film the chaotic scene on his cellphone.  The graphic video, which he later posted on YouTube, showed the young girl screaming while her dog had the sea lion by the neck.

Here’s the video.  Caution:  Graphic.

Illinois Unlawful Use of Weapons struck down…  again.

Closer to home in Illinois, gun grabbers have a new problem they are scrambling to deal with.

It seems a Cook County judge struck down Illinois Unlawful Use of Weapons (UUW) statute as unconstitutional.

Here’s a post from Illinois Carry by Todd Vandermyde about the case:

There is a new case I received in the mail today.  Some of the legal types might want to pull it up and post it here.

People v. Donta Mosley
decided 3/15/13
cook county criminal division
12-CR-5646-01
Judge Michael Brown

[Synopsis:] 20 year old on a Aggravated UUW.  Judge says sentencing guidelines require mandatory 1 year in prison, because it is a minor with gun, and no FOID.

But the judge finds that 18, 19 & 20 years olds can’t sign for their own FOID and this creates a due process violation.  As such, he declares 720 ILCS 5/24-1.6 6(d)(2) unconstitutional.

He also sound disproportionate penalties and again declares the Aggravated UUW unconstitutional.

WOW

Then the judge goes onto say unconstitutional on its face AND as applied.

Defendant gets a Class A misdemeanor at the end of it.

Rut row.  Another judge has struck down Illinois’ UUW statute.  This thing is springing Titanic-style leaks and is going down faster than we expected despite being “unsinkable”.

Jim Carrey pushback

Pushback is coming on harder than expected for Jim Carrey.

Cold dead career

I hear that a depressed actor with anger issues, a series of failed relationships, and a declining career, is releasing an angry song about me and people like you who are in long-term, healthy relationships because he’s mad we won’t give up our rights.

Mayor Nanny State Bloomberg

I’ve gotten a lot of questions about NYC Mayor gun ad. My response? I don’t take gun advice from the Mayor of NYC. I listen to Arkansans.

  1. I don’t take gun advice from washed-up comedians whose movies are no longer in demand. I listen to my friends and neighbors.

  2. On the dismissal.

This is WHY there should be NO DEALS!
For literally decades Madigan has used preemption to foil even begging attempts.
It is time to turn his own game right back on him.

REFUSE to go along with permission slip structure now. He can’t stop Constitutional Carry unless “Republicans” allow it and in significant numbers. Simply refuse to vote for permission slips and they don’t have enough votes to pass a preemption bill.

We have already WON if we just sit tight – RESOLVED!!
If they try local ordinances so be it. They will LOSE over and over and over again in court.
The only THREAT left is the NRA backed 997 being voted through by REPUBLICANS!
    Republicans -DON’T YOU DARE! !!!!

  3. I quit watching Saturday Night Live years ago because i couldn’t stomach Jim Carrey, so what he has to say never carried any weight.
