KelTec Sub-2000 Gen1 (GLOCK Mags)

Keltec Sub-2000 folding rifle.  9mm.  OD Green furniture. GLOCK magazines.  Very good bordering on excellent, in box.  Includes the factory G17 10-round magazine (thank you Clinton scary gun ban era) plus a modern Magpul G17 Pmag.   Accepts GLOCK 17 compatible mags (17 round or the 33-round happy sticks or others).  A terrific, compact pistol-caliber carbine that folds up into a package that will fit discretely in your laptop case or luggage.  Easily hit man-sized targets at 100+ yards.  $325.

GSG .22 Firefly pistol.

GSG Firefly Pistol.  .22 rimfire.  Tan frame with one magazine and threaded barrel, case. $200.   Photo was not submitted, so the gun pictured above might not look exactly like the gun for sale.  For more info, or to buy, email Dale Lock <lockdale1953@gmail.com>.  Springfield region.

These below are from Mr. John Boch.  jboch@gunssavelife.com.  217 649-3702.  These are for face-to-face transfers in or near Bloomington, IL.  FOID required.  We agree to the sale and buyer texts or emails a photo of their FOID card, then the 72-hour wait period begins.  We’ll finish the deal in a public location such as the Bloomington PD parking lot.  No, I won’t ship these to Nigeria or anywhere else, even if you send me a check for three times what I’m asking.  And speaking of checks, this is a cash only event.  Got plenty of TP.  Although Clorox wipes are another story.

In the interests of reducing social contact in these times, I’ve included detailed photos.   All guns have been cleaned and lubed (except for NIB specimens).  Low-ball offers will be summarily rejected.

Again, if you are a GSL member and want to thin your collection, email us at jboch@gunssavelife.com and I’ll put your offerings up too!

S&W M&P 2.0 Shield 9mm, New in Box. SOLD.

Smith & Wesson M&P 2.0 Shield 9mm.  New in box.  One of the finest and most popular single-stack 9mm carry guns in America today.  Smith & Wesson, Shield M2.0, Semi-automatic Pistol, Striker Fired, Compact Frame, 9MM, 3.125″ Barrel, Polymer Frame, Blue Finish, 2 Magazines (1-7Rd & 1-8Rd), No Manual Safety, 3 Dot Sights.  With a box of 50 rounds of 9mm JHP defensive ammo.  $300.

SCCY CPX2 9mm pistol.  New in Box. SOLD

The hot new SCCY CPX2 pistol.  9mm.  Two-tone gray frame and stainless slide.  New in box.  Lifetime warranty.  This is a great little pistol and a hot-selling, affordable American-made defensive pistol from and up and coming company.  With a box of 50 rounds of 9mm defensive ammo.   $200.

Taurus 24/7 PRO compact 9mm

Taurus PT 24/7 PRO Compact Stainless. 9mm.  Very good condition, in box.   The first of Taurus’ defensive semi-auto pistols with a very good trigger right out of the box.   A great little shooter with both a flush-fit 13 round mag and a longer, 17-round magazine.  With external safety for those who prefer that feature.  Don’t care for that?  Simply leave it in the fire position, as pictured.  $240.

Non-Firearm:  CAA Micro Carbine Kit MCK  Withdrawn.

The CAA USA Micro Carbine Kit “MCK” (in box) converts your GLOCK 9mm/.40 Handgun into a carbine of sorts.  This kit, as offered, includes Magpul pop-up backup iron sights and a SIG Romeo5 optic (also with box).  Sighted in for a Glock 19.  The MCK itself holds an extra magazine (not pictured, below, with a Glock 19 inserted into the unit).  $400 as a package deal.   No waiting period on this.

What’s the upside to this?  Greater precision at greater range.  Greater precision and gun controllability for novice shooters.   Plus, with a CCW license in Illinois, you can have this with your loaded pistol installed alongside your passenger seat or behind it.  Toss a blanket over it and you’re legal as it’s a pistol – with carbine-like reach.

No, the Glock is not included.  Nice try though.

Under $150 Bargain bin / Affordable self-defense

Kel-Tec P3AT .380 micro pistol

KelTec P3AT .380 auto micro pistol.  Good condition.  In box.  The KelTec P3AT was the first of a whole generation of .380 auto micro pistols.  Weighing about 13ish ounces loaded, it’s a gun you can easily forget you’re carrying.  And in a pocket holster, it’s truly deep concealment.  $140.

So what in the heck is that behind the trigger?  It’s a “tactical enhancement.”  Seriously.  It’s a pencil eraser that’s been super-glued to the frame.  (Then colored “black” with a marker.)

It allows the trigger to be staged, easily allowing even novice shooters the ability to double or triple their effective range with this tiny pistol.  How it works:  You pull the trigger most of the way until you feel resistance.   Then you know a slight increase in trigger press (after you have aligned the sights) will make the gun will go bang and you’ll get a hit.  With patience and skill, you can easily hit a man-size silhouette at 25 yards with every shot with this improvement.

Kel Tec P-11 9mm.

The Kel Tec P-11 pistol.  9mm.  Good condition in box.  Well carried for many years.  With two factory 10-round magazines, plus two S&W factory magazines:  12-round and 14-round.  $140.

Here’s the description from KT:  The semi-automatic P11™ is the very first 9mm polymer pistol designed for concealed carry. With its ergonomic design, perceived recoil and practical accuracy, it’s a big pistol in a small package. Compact and lightweight, thanks to a locked breech design, the P11 also features a double action only firing mechanism thats function surpasses all applicable SAAMI safety standards.

I nearly shot a man with this gun.

It’s now discontinued from Kel-Tec but they had a sense of humor on that matter.

Might I suggest a permanent option on this website for posting but/selling firearms.

    • jboch on April 13, 2020 at 2:39 pm

We are test driving it right here, right now.

So long as it doesn’t become burdensome to maintain, and seems to be helpful to members to sell firearms they’re wanting to part with, we’ll continue to do it.

      John

Would it be possible to get a tab for this on the header?

    • jboch on April 14, 2020 at 12:34 pm

Let’s see how this works out for a month or two first.

Uh, is that Shield hot? It was $369 at my local gun shop.

I’ll take it if it’s still available.

    • jboch on April 14, 2020 at 10:56 pm

Sorry. It’s sold. Hot seller, yes. Hot as in stolen? Not so much.

      John

That AR package is outstanding too, but I don’t have that kind of coin right now. Plus my wife would kill me.

  9. D Warren Drake on April 14, 2020 at 8:53 pm

I’d take the P11, but already have 2 of those dandy pieces! Warren

On a different subject, what’s going on with membership? Discovered that mine expired several days ago, and have yet to receive any kind of renewal notice. Found an email address in GunNews for membership and sent a message, with no reply. Similar thing happened a couple years ago.
Are we responsible for own renewals, or are we to wait to be notified?

  11. Ken Rishel on April 22, 2020 at 9:15 pm

    this is a good feature.
