Meet Francisco Nanez. Immigration status unknown. What is known is that Chicago’s woke City Council handed $8 million in pure taxpayer cash to a would-be child molester while the bastard was already sitting in jail for trying to meet a 13-year-old for sex. Francisco Nanez, the recipient of this grotesque payout, had his 1986 arson-murder conviction vacated. Fine. But by the time the City Council rubber-stamped his $8 million settlement, he was already charged with attempted predatory criminal sexual assault of a child under 13, solicitation of child pornography, grooming, and traveling to meet a minor. An undercover investigator posing as the girl arranged the meet. Nanez showed up ready to act. Arrested on the spot.
And the City Council still wrote the check.
They still disbursed the payout. No complaint. No objection. Not a peep.
A full year after his arrest was public knowledge, these people approved the money. Nanez later pleaded guilty to traveling to meet the minor and got five years. With jail credit he walked with almost no time left. Twelve aldermen are now pretending to be outraged, demanding installment payments, freezes on felony arrests, and voided settlements if the recipient is convicted. Too little, too late. The damage is done. The monster got paid.
How in the actual hell can a single member of that Council look themselves in the mirror after green-lighting millions for a man already locked up on child-sex charges? The people running Chicago are insane. Settlements are supposed to correct real government wrongs. Instead Chicago’s leadership treated a charged child predator like a victim deserving a lottery win. Taxpayers foot the bill. The predator got the cash. Children got zero protection from the people who claim to care about “the vulnerable.”
This is not a policy failure. It is moral bankruptcy on display. Any alderman who voted for that settlement while Nanez was sitting in a cell for trying to prey on a 13-year-old owns every dollar of it.
And if you’re voting for these turds on the Chicago City Council, you own this too.
And Chicago wonders why its a cesspool of crime, violence and degeneracy.

He’s a piece of human shit, yes-indeedy.
He’s entitled to the payout for the illegal conviction.
And if proven guilty of the current charges then he’s entitled to a prison term. After which he should be entitled to enjoy his illegal conviction payout!
Either we live in a society governed by the rule of law or we do not. You cannot pick what laws you want to apply to good people and different laws to apply to other people.
He was wrongfully convicted and he’s entitled to be paid for that. The problem is the Democrats and Republicans who have come before who allowed these illegals in the country and to stay in the country once in the country.
And a lack of Good Men willing to feed these people feet first into the wood chipper. I’m ready and I happen to have a wood chipper!
