Gabby Giffords, the former Congressman from Arizona who lost half her brain in an attempted assassination attempt by a fringe leftist kook, showed up in Chicago tonight to pimp more of her gun control schemes.
CHICAGO (WLS) — Former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords joined Illinois leaders Thursday to launch the Illinois Gun Violence Prevention Coalition to urge the state’s leaders to curb the flow of illegal guns into the state.The Gun Dealer Licensing Act would give authorities the tools to encourage better business practices among federally licensed gun dealers and hold corrupt dealers accountable.
Supporters of this bill don’t believe that the federal government has enough money and manpower to properly supervise gun dealers. So they want to have the State of Illinois get involved. As though Illinois is flush with money and manpower.
…Despite the lasting effect of her gunshot wounds on her ability speak, Giffords remains one of the nation’s most eloquent advocates for gun control.
Not sure where the “eloquent advocate” talking point came from but there’s nothing eloquent about the Giffords communication skills.
