Democrats in Congress have been busy. They want to spend $60 million on junk science anti-gun studies. And now comes news that in the face of the TSA missing 95% of dangerous items that come through security checkpoints, Democrats’ answer is to ban more guns.
It’s true.
The TSA Fails 95% of Undercover Airport Tests
A shocking report finds the Transportation and Security Administration is lousy at detecting weapons, especially guns and explosives.(Popular Mechanics) – Going places? The Transportation Security Administration has some bad news for you. In a series of tests conducted at dozens of the nation’s busiest airports, undercover investigators were able to smuggle mock explosives and other banned weapons in 95 percent of trials, reports ABC News. The details only worsen from there.
Posing as passengers trying to beat the system, Homeland Security Red Teams were able to beat 67 out of 70 tests. In one, an undercover agent was stopped after setting an alarm at a magentometer, but TSA screeners failed to detect the fake explosive taped to his back, even during a pat down.
Do Democrats come out against sloppy work by TSA employees? Of course not!
Instead they propose more gun bans!
Dems move to ban plastic guns
(The Hill) – Congressional Democrats are proposing to ban plastic guns, following reports of major security lapses at the nation’s airports
Plastic guns can be even more dangerous than traditional firearms because they’re harder to detect, says Rep. Steve Israel (D-N.Y.).
Are gun-hating, left-wing Democrats really so stupid to think a homicidal maniac wanting to hijack an airliner full of innocents is really going to observe a law against making an all-plastic gun?
There’s stupid, criminally stupid and felony stupid.
Democrat Steve Israel seems to have earned himself the title “Felony Stupid” with this asinine proposal.
Below is a short Japanese parody video of how they see the American TSA program. It’s work safe, with the exception your co-workers may wonder why you’re laughing so hard.
