One of our members sent this to us along with an explanation that the local newspaper, The Pantagraph, left an unsolicited copy of their publication on his doorstep in the past few days.  He took the newspaper, taped a copy of GSL’s “NO GUNS = NO MONEY’ cards to it and then duct taped the whole mess to their front door.

Nothing real subtle about that message.

  1. Nice. I cancelled my local paper about six years ago after subscribing for twenty years. News on net is quick, easy, *current*, and without the left leaning bias. My company ceased display ads as well. Their ad rep warned us our biz might be down but that hasn’t happened.

Now that same local paper is posted too.

Hit them in their pocket books.

  2. I have noticed that 3 local FS (Farm Service) gas stations in my area have these same placards displayed on their door. Freeport, Lena, and Morrison. When I confronted the clerk in the Lena store and asked him why a company named Farm Service would ban firearms, all I got was a shrug of the shoulders and a confused look, not that expected an answer from the clerk. Consequently, I have refused to patronize any FS locations since.

  3. Wonder if it would be possible, and how to, set up an app or website that could be used as reference for friendly/unfriendly locations. Possibly provide nearby alternatives to the latter. Does this exist? One website started a forum on similar idea but it has since closed up shop.
