You paid $40,264 per year for your son or daughter to go to Bradley University to get their undergraduate degree.

Plus an additional $630 per credit hour for each class over 16 hours, plus an additional $5 per credit hour for each class in the college of engineering and scads of additional fees.  Let’s just say by the time you buy them a dorm room, books, meals and everything else, you’re spending $60,000 a year.

Of course, guns are banned on the Bradley University campus, so local groups of teenage boys wearing black hoodies can feel emboldened to share some local “culture” with those rich college kids.  You know, beat downs.  Groping the ladies (that’s sexual assault for those keeping track).  Stealing their smart phones.

There’s been a surge in these attacks, taking place in the early evening hours in recent days.

The race of the attackers was omitted from the story we found.

It follows the report that Champaign, IL reported 42 similar attacks in the first two weeks of October.

Carry your damn gun.

PEORIA, Ill. (WHOI) –– Local students are thinking twice about walking home alone after a series of attacks.

Monday night, Bradley police got several calls of students being attacked by five teenage boys, wearing black hoodies

The attacks all happened between 8:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

Police said two women reported being groped by the suspects during the attacks.

Other students reported the teens throwing rocks and cans of Red Bull at them.

One woman said she was even tackled to the ground and had her phone stolen.

Bradley University sent out emergency alerts to students, notifying them of the crimes.

Those living nearby the attacks said they will take extra precautions when walking home from night classes.

…Police are still interviewing victims and witnesses.

They have not made any arrests.

  1. “They have not made any arrests”.

Of course they haven’t. These attacks happen suddenly, are over in seconds, and the police are minutes away.

Even if the police were standing right there, they might arrest one or two – who would be out of jail in a few hours or days.

In the world of criminal justice (I hate to say it, but it’s true) aggravated battery, theft (of the phone), and even aggravated criminal sexual abuse (groping) are just not that big a deal. IF there is an arrest, most of the charges will be dropped, and the remainder pled down to time served (see the Lil Dork story above).

You need to protect and defend you, because the police and courts can’t and won’t.

  2. The students need to arm themselves and. Shoot these criminal ni66ers when the opportunity presents itself.

  3. I don’t know what the media thinks they’re accomplishing by omitting race in the description. It’s the same as Allison Grimes refusing to say whether she voted for Obama. Everyone knows the truth and they don’t appreciate the condescending insult to their intelligence.
