We know we have our fair share of Chicago-area LEOs reading GunsSaveLife.com each day and we’re certainly a fan of Second City Cop.
St. Baldrick’s is coming up very soon and one of our GSL members has been a regular participant for years and we’re encouraging more of our readers to get involved.
Via Second City Cop:
March 22nd, just four weeks from Friday and coming up fast but there’s still time to sign up for St. Baldrick’s 2013. So far 95 brave men and women have signed up to have their hair drastically cut or entirely shaved off in support of kids facing cancer and there’s still time for you to join us.
We will be at the Academy, 022, and 025 on Friday, March 22nd from 0700 – 1500 hours. Fundraising is easy once people know why you are accepting this memorable undertaking and there is no minimum amount required, except for an expectation that you raise at least $50 to get a t-shirt.
Just go to St. Baldrick’s website, www.stbaldricks.org and under search type in Chicago Police and pick your location. If you have any questions please contact Bill O’Reilly for the Academy event, (firstname.lastname@example.org), Bill Murphy for the 022 event, (email@example.com) or Anne Zamzow for the 025 event, (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Thanks in advance for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you at one of the events this year.
As Second City says, best of luck to all participants.
