Rep.-Katherine-Rogers-600x337

Politicians behaving badly could be a regular series on its own. Just yesterday, a radical leftist Missouri State Representative tweeted her hope for President Trump's assassination. Now, a New Hampshire State Representative Katherine Rogers (pictured above) faces charges for battering a gun rights advocate.

The incident occurred during a recount from last fall's election. Susan Olsen, a gun rights advocate, says that Rep. Rogers slugged her during a recount proceeding. To make matters worse, Olsen also alleges the former state's attorney then tried to bait Olsen into hitting her back.

That's right:  Cops say the violent, bitter liberal actually struck a Republican.  As a former prosecutor, you would think this woman would know better.  Her temper must have gotten the better of her.

Olson wasn't having any of it, though. Now, several months after the incident, the wheels of justice have turned out criminal charges against the pugilistic politician.

The Concord Patch has the story

CONCORD, NH — A local state representative has been charged with assault in Concord District Court and is scheduled to be arraigned in late September, according to court documents. The charge was filed against Katherine Rogers, 61, pictured left, of Alton Woods Drive in Concord, on Aug. 7, 2017, by the New Hampshire State Police. According to a complaint, on Nov. 16, 2016, during the recount for the District 7 state Senate seat held at the state archives building, Rogers allegedly struck Susan Olsen, a 2nd Amendment activist and former state Rep. candidate from Warner, “with a semi-closed right hand squarely on (her) left ear.”

But, as the late Billy Mays would say, that's not all!

[Susan Olsen] alleged that Rogers, a former county attorney, countered, “in a low, mocking, angry whisper,” something to the effect of “Hit me. I know you want to. Go ahead. Hit me.”

Olsen claimed that Rogers was “smirking” while she was speaking and then, reportedly leaned in further, “sounding almost like she was daring me,” and allegedly stated, “I know what you want to do. You want to shoot me.”

Could the violent state rep's behavior reflect a case of psychological projection? We couldn't possibly comment.

Either way, Rogers has a September 29th court date for her arraignment.

  1. Can't she also file a civil rights lawsuit as a hate crime because she was assaulted because she held a point of view "Pro 2A"? That's right, Pro2 A is not a protected class, only a guaranteed CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT.
