Chicago’s latest police superintendent / streetlight assassin Garry McCarthy:
- the guy who claimed that he would train his officers to shoot licensed civilians with guns
- the guy who claimed a couple of tables full of evil “black guns” were confiscated in the first days of the 2013 when the press noticed the evidence tags were from prior years
- the guy who was found “guilty” in March 2006 over an traffic altercation he had in 2005 with two New Jersey police officers
- the guy who was also out drunk again on City Island one evening was shooting out street lights with two other police officers, one of whom was McCarthy’s brother, a New York State Trooper
- the guy who at the same streetlight assassinating incident used the word “nigger” in telling nearby residents to mind their own business, nearly causing a riot
- the guy not-so-affectionately known as McShitForBrains to his officers
is an unhappy camper about “gun rights advocates” embarrassing him and making him look like a fool as he goes about his merry way running CPD into the ground and demonizing gun owners along the way.
Yes, indeed, Guns Save Life is on his radar and under his skin and he’s launched a direct attack at little old us, which officially kicks off this Sunday at 7:00a.m. by accusing us of corruption.
Really.

Top Cop is on the attack against gun rights groups
(WLS-AM) – Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy is on the attack against gun rights groups who oppose new gun control, and he launched the attack here at WLS.
Taping Connected to Chicago for Sunday morning at 7, Superintendent McCarthy came up with a novel new way to try to accuse gun rights groups of corruption.
“If there was special interests affecting police work, I believe that would be called corruption. So, if it has do with donating money versus a popular vote, I think we have a bigger problem in this country and somebody’s gotta wake up to that,” said McCarthy.
For the record: Are we corrupt? We almost blew milk out our nose when we read that we laughed so hard.
No. We are not corrupt.
And, generally speaking, we don’t think McCarthy is corrupt either in a city where you can’t swing a dead cat in city hall without hitting a half-dozen people involved in a dozen different potential corruption scandals.
Is McCarthy incompetent? Yep, we believe so. A philanderer? Certainly. Just ask his wife who is back in New Jersey. A walking liability magnet? You bet. A perfect police chief for the current Mayor? You know it.
We shouldn’t be surprised at McCarthy’s Orwellian remarks as they are a manifestation of something he apparently learned as a child, in that if he repeated something enough times, eventually it would be true.

Typical chicago politics, make enough noise saying “LOOK AT THOSE CRITICS!!” hoping against hope that attention will be directed away from him…. Not gonna happen. He likes to boast and act like some tough guy, but in reality he is the whipping boy of Tiny Dancer-Emanuel, with little real power and even less sense.
Corruption? For being a critic of his senseless policies? Ol Garry has as little understanding of the First Amendment as he does the Second.
To be fair to Garry, this is not a gun problem, but a gang problem. The courts do little or nothing to the mutts when his officers catch them, and they go back out on the streets, knowing the system better than anyone else. The reason they do not stay in jail? THERES NO MONEY!! The politicians have squandered every dime and then some, and the dirty secret is that we can no longer afford to house these mutts to the extent that being a criminal is too ‘expensive’ to be one. The street cops will hammer these gangs all day long, but the system fails them. If he took that angle, he would be correct, but his boss/mayor wont let that be spoken…
I truly thought Chicago could get past it’s past… but it seems that corruption and power mongering is in the water up there.. I hate to say it but I refuse to come back to that city.. not because of the crime but because of the politics and scandals. My personal thought are that the money from the gang drugs and trafficking are ending up in political pockets and they want it that way.. just as they always have. I feel sorry for the lower part of IL.. they have such an eye sore in Chicago..

Do not even listen to this guy, he is a puppet for RAHM. This is the city that does nt work period, and it has not been working for a long ass time. The 911 system was at its finest last night again when I reported a active shooter on SS of Chicago. The incompetance, laziness, and attitude have made calling for help so productive, and the safety of citizens takes a back seat to their attitudes. Do not ever become demanding as they will hang up on you and let the cards fall where they may. The whole demanor of the politically connected and lazy have given others a bad name, and citizens know it. GUNS always get to the thugs hands, and they shoot nightly. This is not legal gun owners, its the gangs killing our kids, and eachother. Enough already with the CHICAGO BULLSHIT already, we have no need to even pay attention to the promises the city provides.

You are so right. It tells you something when they try to “fight” gang crime and narco cartels operating freely in the city by disarming law abiding citizens down south. It needs to be exposed through all possible channels.
With some of the toughest gun laws of any major city in the world, this buffoon and his puppet master mayor should be embarassed by the crime statistics (literally exploding) in this once Great City. I loved this city and all it had to offer, but I do not feel safe visiting there or even traveling through…..I will take I-39 to Bloominton and the long way around Chicago on my travels south.

I donate money towards 2A groups, who legally lobby for protection and restoration of our 2A rights. So you are calling me corrupt? Who the f[rootcake] are you.
