Yes, college students today have it so rough.

Or perhaps I should say “Social Justice Warriors” on campus have it rough.  It’s so bad some General Hospital “doctor” complains that over half of college students have a mental disorder.

New Concerns Arise About Mental Health Of College Students

(CBS News Boston) – New concerns arise about the mental health of students on college campuses all across the country.

Dr. Gene Beresin, a psychiatrist and Executive Director of The Clay Center for Young Healthy Minds at Massachusetts General Hospital, says 50% to 60% of college students have a psychiatric disorder.

Oh heavens!  Half or more of college students today have a psychiatric disorder?    What could possibly cause that horrific mental illness in our precious little snowflakes?

Dr. General Hospital tells us these mental illnesses are caused by:

“use of substances, anxiety, depression, problems with relationships, break-ups, academic problems, learning disabilities, attentional problems”

So, college-age young adults today have mental illness because of break-ups, anxiety, depression and relationship issues, huh?

50% of young adults weren’t mentally ill in the early 1940s.  And they faced much bigger challenges.

  1. Welcome to the pussification of America. When it’s soft enough, expect the invasion.
Where will we find the Wolverines when it happens?

  2. When “the day” comes, these will be the first to go, so it will give the rest of us additional time to watch, enjoy, and prepare.

    1. I hate to say it, KK, but I think you’re right. In that sense they will ultimately serve a valuable purpose – as a cannon fodder. As we’ve seen the enemy will attack the weak in places they gather – night clubs, concert halls, schools.

The implications to those who value their own survival are two-fold:
1 – Avoid these high-profile soft targets like the plague, and if you can’t, prepare accordingly.
2 – Stay Strapped, and stay vigilant. The life you save may NOT be your own.

  3. You said it KK. Life always presents adversity at some point in life, its how you handle it that defines your character. If these kids can’t handle being offended, when their day of reckoning comes, and it will come, the failure will be epic. The rest of us will have to get things done, and IF we all survive, their is going to have to be some new ground rules and real consequences moving forward.

  4. Rule #1 used to be cardio.

Now it is “balls”. As in do you have a set of balls, figuratively speaking, or do you need a safe space if someone says rugged independence.

  5. These people are the current voting stock of our political system. You know as the, ” Go along, get along and they will not bother me “. They are the grease for the tank threads when their tyranny arrives.
