The Illinois Gun Owners Lobby Day is scheduled for Wednesday, April 6th.

While organized groups cannot enter the capitol complex, we were told last night that if you tell security you’re there to see Darren Bailey or to visit his office, COVID tests aren’t required and they will admit you.  However, you will be restricted from many of the areas inside the capitol complex without a negative COVID test.

The same probably goes for other Republican members.

If you’re going, bring appropriate rain gear if you intend to march from the Prairie Capitol Convention Center (or BoS if you like that name better) to the Capitol complex about eight blocks or so away.

ISRA sent out this today (Tuesday) – about seven minutes ago:

  1. Would have been nice to have known about this more than the day before. As it is, didn’t even know it was happening until today. Since there are so few postings on here anymore, I don’t visit real often
