Come Learn How Not to Become a Victim
In Illinois, the difference between walking away a free man and becoming a victim of the criminal justice system often comes down to one thing: whether you understood the legal standard for using force before the moment arrived. Criminals don’t give second chances. Neither do prosecutors who decide after the fact whether your actions were reasonable. That’s why preparation matters — not just with a firearm, but with knowledge of exactly how the law will judge you if the worst happens.

GSL Chicagoland has moved! We’ve relocated to Brian’s Place at 25665 S Governors Hwy, Monee, IL 60449, and the energy is better than ever. Experience the fun and excitement of a GSL meeting where serious people gather to get better at staying alive and staying free.
Our main speaker this month is a police sergeant who will break down the use of force — the real-world standards officers and citizens alike are judged by when force becomes necessary. You’ll leave understanding what “reasonable” actually means when your life is on the line, so you’re not left explaining yourself to people who weren’t there.
We’re also giving away a full case of 9mm — 1,000 rounds. That’s multiple range sessions to maintain and refine the skill set you’ll need if the worst ever happens. Drawing is for members present.
Meetings are open to the public. Bring a friend. The food at Brian’s Place is very good and reasonably priced, so come early, eat well, and stay for the program.
Don’t wait until you’re the one being judged. Show up. Learn the standard. Practice the skills. Leave better prepared than you arrived.
Join us at Brian’s Place, 25665 S Governors Hwy, Monee, IL 60449. The move is done. The work continues. See you there.
