Life is hard. Life is harder when your name is Quanterry. Take Quanterry Whitley. See, he learned first-hand how the FAFO concept can go very badly when you try to steal someone else’s hard-earned possessions.
It all happened in the Richmond Heights neighborhood of Miami a couple of weekends ago. He and three of his young scholar thug friends fooled around, committing a home invasion.
And sometimes when you fool around, you find out.
A neighbor’s Ring doorbell camera recorded the sounds of Quanterry and his buddies reaping the whirlwind. Yes, it captured Whitley screaming like a little girl after getting shot before he stopped his screaming and assumed ambient temperature.
As for the homeowner, he says that he was terrified during the ordeal. He also said it was the first time he ever shot his gun.
Mr. Homeowner is a lucky man. A very lucky man.
Congrats to him then. He did pretty well, all things considered. It probably wouldn’t have ended well for him if he’d froze… or not had a gun at all. Personally, I prefer not to rely on luck, but to each his or her own.
The homeowner, who didn’t want to share his name or face, said he didn’t know any of the suspects and that he only pulled the trigger when one of them entered his house.
CBS News Miami obtained ring camera video that captured the moment shots were heard while the four suspects were trying to enter a home on Southwest 110th Avenue.
The homeowner said he told the men outside his property to leave, but they didn’t. And when one of the men entered his home, he fired, admitting it was the first time he had ever used his gun.
“Never, never. Never pulled it out, never used it. Ever like ever,” the homeowner said. “I’ve never been in trouble, like I don’t bother anybody. Nobody bothers me. This was just the worst day of my life, the worst night of my life.”
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue came to the scene and rushed the injured suspect, later identified as 26-year-old Quanterry Alvin Whitley, to the hospital, where he later died.
BUT WAIT! IT GETS BETTER!
Meanwhile, Whitley’s mother is upset over the homeowner’s defensive actions. Local 10 caught her denying that it was her son who broke into the home.
More from CBS:
CBS News Miami spoke with Lashundia Jackson, the mother of Whitley. She said the homeowner should never have fired his weapon.
“I would like to say he did not do a home invasion. That is inaccurate. That is not who he is. That is not who he was. He would not do that. He was not that type of person,” Jackson said of her son.
The evidence — including her son’s body inside the man’s home — suggests otherwise.
She said, “The way he (the homeowner) said his mother came out and said they better get off the porch or she is going to call police. Then why shouldn’t they call the police at that moment if that was what they needed to do to avoid shooting him and killing him? Why shouldn’t they call?”
Jackson continued, “I want to know why? Why? Why. What really happened and what is going on?”
Why? Because your son, through your actions or inactions as a lousy mother, led him down the path where he and his three pals decided they were going to commit a home invasion…and they suffered the consequences of an serious error in victim selection.
What’s more, evidence shows Quanterry, the now-dead home invader, didn’t suddenly chose to dabble in a life of crime.
Police records show Whitley had been arrested before for burglary and aggravated assault. But his mother said, “He was a father. He was a son. He was a brother. He was a cousin. He was everything. Did he have run-ins with law enforcement? He did, but a home invasion was not one of them.”
He was a thug. He FA’d and then he FO’d. He learned the hard way that not everyone is meek and mild and will submit to being victimized. And in this case, Whitley’s intended victim also delivered a taxpayer relief shot that likely saved the taxpayers of Florida hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Nothing like a happy ending to start the weekend!

Hats off to my fellow Florida homeowner! Saving us from incarceration expenses and welfare benefits is a win-win! Too bad it didn’t happen before he reproduced but, Thank you!
Quanterry’s younger sister Syphillis is going to miss him. Along with his mom Gonnoreya.
Amen. Thank goodness for the taxpayer relief shot. If you want to call it a partial birth abortion at the 80th trimester, I’m good with that too.
The older I get the more I wonder if these sort actually have a soul. I wonder if God knew from creation what he had wrought? And I wonder how a mother who knows that her kid has multiple felony charges in multiple felony convictions for violent crime could stand there and ignorantly plead that he wouldn’t do such a thing! That’s the psychological concept of denial. It is a real phenomena. She is incapable of recognizing reality. I know my mother would be distraught if something like that had happened to me but if I had that same history of crime she would Grimace and shrug her shoulders and say it’s unfortunate. She would never say well that ain’t him that weren’t him that couldn’t have been him he wasn’t like that! Because Quan Terry obviously was like that! But did he have a soul? You pray for it …I’m too busy.
Evil invades the hearts and minds of the vulnerable not taught responsibility, honor, respect, and guided in the ways of lawful living. Too bad for Quantery’s soul, but he lived the life he wanted and died with the consequences. One less thug plying his “trade”, maybe his “example” will dissuade other young thugs but it will probably only invoke “more of the same”. in the crowd he ran with. Good riddance.
keep your ****** ass out, see how that works
“not supposed to self-defense, shudda called de polees’ – said the relative of the dead ****** asshole
…not him?…someone was impersonating the useless dindu mofo?
