JB Pritzker’s mouth wrote a big, fat check that his rather prosperous ass won’t be able to cash. A few days ago, after the election, Pritzker said, “You come for my people, you come through me.” Trump’s new Border Czar, tasked with stemming the illegal alien invasion and deporting those illegally in the country, say’s he’s more than prepared to deal with governors (illegally) harboring illegals.
But first, Pritzker’s tough talk as reported by Politico:
Gov. JB Pritzker spoke to reporters Thursday for the first time since Donald Trump’s victory, saying he expects to work with the next administration, but he issued a warning.
“You come for my people, you come through me,” Pritzker said, referring to the minority and underserved communities of Illinois who remember the “chaos, retribution and disarray radiated from the White House the last time Donald Trump occupied.”
Pritzker, who served as a surrogate to Kamala Harris’ campaign, said his administration “was not unprepared” for a Trump win.
Well, ol’ JB isn’t the sharpest trust fund baby in the world. There’s a reason why the family didn’t put him in charge of the empire.
But Tom Homan, Trump’s freshly-appointed Border Czar, has a message for Ol’ JB and Mayors like Birdbrain Johnson, via NY Post:
There’s a new czar in town.
President-elect Donald Trump’s new “border czar” Tom Homan has a message for New York City and other sanctuary jurisdictions: Nothing will stop us from deporting migrant criminals.
“If we can’t get assistance from New York City, we may have to double the number of agents we send to New York City,” he said on Fox & Friends on Monday. “Because we’re going to do the job with you or without you.”
Homan — whom Trump tasked with both securing the border and carrying out the deportation of millions of migrants who are in the US illegally — told The Post that he wants his boss to put maximum pressure on the leaders of New York and other sanctuary cities that refuse to cooperate with efforts to lock up and deport migrants who commit crimes in the US.
“I’m hoping the president files a lawsuit against them and withholds federal funding,” Homan said.
I suspect losses in federal funding will just be the tip of the iceberg. But decisions have consequences.
He added: “If they’re not willing to do it then get out of the way — we’re coming.”
Homan said enforcing immigration laws like that will require a lot of manpower, “so if I have to flood agents to the sanctuary cities to get the job done then that’s what we’re gonna do.”
On Sunday, Trump appointed Homan, the former acting director of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in the first Trump administration, to the post currently held by Vice President Kamala Harris — who oversaw more than 8 million migrants entering the country illegally in the last four years.
“I’m going to be extremely successful because I’m following failure,” Homan said.
You have to admire a government official who speaks the plain truth.
Good riddance, illegals. These nations didn’t send us their very best. Let them take them back. Or else.
Getting rid of illegal aliens will help keep America’s streets and families safer.
And to those who say “most” illegals don’t commit crimes, here’s a question specifically for you: How much illegal-alien crime are you willing to allow? And are you okay with your family members being the victims of those crimes? And but shutting down the flow of illegals across the border, we’ll throttle way back on dangerous drugs like fentanyl pouring across our border, leading to addictions and drug overdoses throughout our country.
