Al Franken claims he's a champion of women.  He also claimed, shortly after bullying his way into the Senate, that he wasn't going to vote for gun control, either.  In fact, he said he would work to repeal gun control laws.  Really!

In his first televised speech after bullying his way into the Senate, Al Franken said that he will vote against any gun control measures and use his influence to remove all gun laws.  He said that he will not vote for any “Hate speech” legislation.

And remember another Democrat saying, "if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor"?

Yeah, here's Al "Vote to repeal gun control" Franken joining Democrat Chris Murphy's filibuster demanding gun control in 2015.  Frankly, ol' Al sounded almost under the influence of some sort of intoxicant.

Anyway, if you listen to Franken's self-serving, sleazy statement in the Senate today, he didn't say he was resigning.  He said he would resign in the coming weeks.  Sure he will.

Franken today said:

I am proud that during my time the senate I have used my power to be a champion of women and that I have earned a reputation as someone who respects the women I work alongside everyday.

The hypocrisy runs strong in these Democrats, does it not?
