So Edwin the rocket surgeon had a little dent in the posterior of his Jeep Grand Cherokee and a YouTube account. He feels the need to show the world his stupidity as well. So he decided to do some ballistic testing of various handgun calibers on the back end of his $35,000 SUV. "It was messed up anyway," he said of the tailgate. "So I figured I'd put a couple of holes in it and then give it to a body shop to fix this whole area." Yes, that's right. He never had anyone teach him that it's better to be thought of as an idiot than to open his mouth and remove all doubt.
He's from California. I'm not sure how much that explains. Maybe a lot, maybe not.
The first shot with a .380 disables the door opening mechanism. And it goes through the back seat. He fires a couple of more in 9mm and .45, just to see how much of his SUV those rounds penetrate. They penetrated alright.
Now his SUV is worth about $3500.
