The big names in gun control are advocating wearing orange today.
From the Illinois Council Against Handgun Violence facebook page:
Today is National Gun Violence Awareness Day. We #wearorange in honor of the 1,000 people killed by guns in Illinois every year. Who will you #wearorange for?
Apparently, either nobody is aware that they are supposed to wear orange today, or nobody really cares.
I’ve been out and about today and haven’t seen anyone wearing orange. Then again, I wasn’t hunting, nor did I visit any jails or prisons. I wasn’t at the University of Illinois either. Maybe I spent my time looking in all the wrong places.
How about you?
Wear orange to show solidarity with these guys.
And this guy!
Or be narcissistic like this shallow woman Debra Messing. She posed for a selfies until she found one that was “just right” to send out to the world. Why? She seeks more unarmed sheep in the face of a Muslim on a murderous rampage in a gun-free zone. That’s some weapons grade intellect right there.
TO answer ICHV’s question about who I’m wearing orange for… I’m not wearing orange today – but if I were, these would be who I’d cheerfully wear orange for:
I know, it’s not in Illinois, but it’s still a dead terrorist – killed by “gun violence”, thereby saving lives. It’s the male half of the San Bernardino Muslim terror attack couple. Hopefully he’s still suffering in this photo before he bled the rest of the way out.

Another home invader who met hot lead.
And this guy, shot dead while committing a home invasion with two of his fine friends.
