It’s interesting how there were no shootings or criminal violence at last year’s Second Amendment Foundation Gun Rights Policy Conference where there were lots of concealed carry licensees (otherwise known as card-carrying good guys) in attendance.
Unfortunately, Chicago doesn’t have daily NRA conventions across the entire city, given yesterdays horrific violence. Sadly, there’s a paucity of good guys with guns in Chicago to thwart violent criminals.
At least 11 homicides were recorded yesterday (Wednesday) in Chicago and another 14 people were wounded by violent criminal predators.
Clearly, the Windy City could use an influx of good guys with guns – or to arm up existing good guys living in Chicago to enable them to resist criminal attack.

Chicago (Tribune) – At least 11 people have died and 14 others have been wounded in separate shootings in Chicago since late Tuesday, including the accidental shooting of an 11-year-old boy, police said.
