The mainstream media in America, along with social media is all excited about the Minnesota dentist who shot some lion in Zimbabwe as part of a big game hunt.
Meanwhile, they ignore the threats to American from illegal alien criminals that continue to pour into America, committing hundreds of thousands – if not millions – of crimes, victimizing Americans left and right.
Yes, a dentist shot a lion in Africa that was a local favorite while on a guided hunt.
Disregard for a moment that hunting tourism is one of the top sources of foreign currency for that third-world nation in the south of Africa, and that big game hunting feeds a great many of the impoverished subjects living there.
Ignore that it’s in the financial, moral and ethical best interests of the nation and the local landowners to exercise proper wildlife management techniques to ensure healthy populations of game animals so that wealthy big game hunters will return with their wallets filled with tens of thousands of American dollars for the chance of a lifetime to take a big game animal – especial dangerous wild game animals.
It’s worth noting that one American big game hunter who recently spoke at Guns Save Life noted their was a Zimbabwean government wildlife agent (really a tax collector of sorts) in their group, armed with an AK-47. It’s part of the regulations for hunting in that nation, and the wildlife agent notes the animals that were shot by the hunter. A fee is charged for each animal harvested and those fees can be quite steep – over $20,000 per animal, in fact. That’s just the government’s take. Then there’s the professional hunter fees, travel expenses, etc. Here’s the catch: they go by a “you break it, you buy it” policy. Even if the animal you shot at gets away, you’re on the hook for the fee.
So while some in America are all excited about this lion getting shot, let’s have a look at what’s really happening in America.
Let’s start with Texas.
Illegal Alien Crime Wave in Texas: 611,234 Crimes, 2,993 Murders
(PJ Media) – The murder of Kathryn Steinle on the Embarcadero in San Francisco by an illegal alien is the most familiar example of a crime committed by an alien. But an unreleased internal report by the Texas Department of Public Safety reveals that aliens have been involved in thousands of crimes in Texas alone, including nearly 3,000 homicides.
PJ Media obtained a never-before-released copy of a Texas DPS report on human smuggling containing the numbers of crimes committed by aliens in Texas. According to the analysis conducted by the Texas Department of Public Safety, foreign aliens committed 611,234 unique crimes in Texas from 2008 to 2014, including thousands of homicides and sexual assaults.

We would ask where the American outrage over the crimes committed by illegal aliens, but we know that the low-information crowd is more excited to hear about lions killed than real threats to their families’ safety.
Is it any wonder why the non-low-information crowd is arming up? There is a virtual invasion of this country by illegal aliens from all across Central America and the Obama administration is not only acting to stop it, they are encouraging it. This doesn’t even take into account the OTMs coming across the border – the “Other Than Mexicans” potential terrorists from the Middle East.
Meanwhile, the mainstream media distracts a great many Americans with stories about a lion getting shot.
