Amy Schumer holds a low opinion of the People of the Gun. Schemer eagerly bashes gun owners in her new Netflix special in a feeble attempt to pimp gun control. She makes fun of us for our opposition to her efforts to promote gun control. How dare we question her opinion?
In The Leather Special, she explores the comedic value of her kitty cat and its barnyard-like smell, and then comes after gun owners. Schumer refers to the POTG with harsh disparaging terms, calling us “gun nuts” and mocking our beliefs. Of course, she does this at her own peril. We saw how making fun of everyday Americans’ beliefs worked so well for Hillary and the Progressive Caucus of the Democrat Party last election, didn’t it?
It shouldn’t be surprising. In Amy’s case, the old apple isn’t falling far from the tree. The funny girl and her cousin Senator Chuck Schumer both like to blame gun owners for the world’s problems. Also just like her cousin, little potty mouth Amy has no problem sacrificing truth in her jihad against guns and gun ownership. In her upcoming show, right after revealed how her boytoy yawned at her “oral skills”, she darkens the mood talking about murder. Because murder is funny, right?
She claims loopholes in background check laws allow the mentally ill and convicted wife beaters to still obtain firearms. Why let the truth get in the way of a lame joke? Especially one about an attempted spree killing at a showing of her trainwreck of a movie aptly named Trainwreck.
In fact, decent people surely find little humor in a theater posted “no guns”, rendering good guy patrons vulnerable to nut jobs, terrorists and violent thugs. In this case, a man murdered two people and wounded seven others in a senseless act of violence. Sadly, because of that theater’s policy, no good guy had the means to stop a bad person with evil in their heart. And Amy Schumer crassly makes light of this tragedy. She tries to make murder funny. Nothing about that tragic incident is funny and neither is she.
Let’s face it: Amy Schumer’s star continues to fade into obscurity. Her new-found gun control advocacy has done nothing but turn away everyday Americans. Her career has atrophied to the point that she’s hawking colorful jeans for Old Navy.
We’ll see how long that lasts before Old Navy gets tired of watching their sales decline.
