A prepared mother in Tennessee took action when she heard someone kick in her back door.  In an instant, she grabbed her .45 auto pistol and her shotgun to investigate.  When she rounded the corner, she saw one thug in her kitchen.

What did she do?

"I put the gun in his face and asked him if there was something I could do for him," she told WBBJ.

The intruder and his four friends saw the woman's determination backed up by cold steel.  At that point, they decided the armed woman would not make a good victim and they scooted down the road.

Five-oh caught up with them and put the cuffs on in a matter of minutes.

From WBBJ:

Madison-Co-burglary-arrestssm

Within an hour, Madison County deputies arrested Quentin Childress, 20, of Jackson, Jaylon Chiles, 18, of Biloxi, Miss., Amar Johnson, 21, of Jackson, Kendrick McMullin, 19, of Jackson, and a juvenile male. Each is charged with aggravated burglary

Thanks to the arrests, the world in that part of America has become safer for all.

  1. What a pretty lineup of boy scouts. I'll bet they were just there to mow her lawn, not?

  2. …kicked in her back door, she should have ended the perp's career right then and there, yeah, would have been a greasy mess to clean up, but perp would not have been able to victimize anyone else.
