Pity poor Michael Bloomberg.  He just can’t catch a break.

Ditto for the increasingly irrelevant Brady Campaign.

And all the rest of the utterly irrelevant gun control groups that maintain their meager existence on social media, as though participation on Facebook was a true measure of a successful operation.

Then today comes the news that Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker signed the repeal of the 48-hour waiting period on handgun purchases in Wisconsin.

Can I get a “HOO-RAY!”?

The anti-gun folks thought Governor Walker wouldn’t sign the bill following last week’s horrific spree killing in Charleston, South Carolina.

They were WRONG.

Not only did he sign the bill, he did it publicly at the pro-gun Milwaukee County Sheriff’s office with the very pro-gun Sheriff David A. Clarke Jr. standing beside him.

MILWAUKEE (WKOW) –– Governor Scott Walker (R-Wisconsin) flashed the power of his pen at the Milwaukee Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday by signing two pieces of legislation that will expand rights for gun owners.

Senate Bill 35 repeals the 48-hour waiting period for all handgun purchases, which has been a part of state law since 1976.

“Today, there’s a national instant background check system that enables us to get instant information about whether or not someone’s eligible to possess a handgun,” said Gov. Walker.

    1. Smart?
What are you gun guys so afraid of?
Guess we should repeal the wait for ilegel aliens to get citenzship

    2. We aren’t afraid of anything, we are GUN GUYS. What does “illegal aliens” have to do with Constitutional rights concerning the 2nd Amendment? One is lawful the other isn’t. Now be a good boy, put on your diaper and go to bed.

    1. If I were a journalist in support of this bill, I would have used the 3 words “common Sense legislation” about 20 times in each of my stories reporting on the passage and signing of this bill. I would ram the words “common sense legislation” down the throats of all those liberals that use it in every sentence relating to firearms. Anytime I hear a liberal use those 3 words, I know the opposite is true. Liberals can do nothing but deceive and lie.
