The Gateway Pundit is reporting that police agencies, and EMS are staging right now at St. Louis County government buildings in Clayton, Missouri.

Seems today’s the day.

Addicting Info is reporting that St. Louis police have advised pawn shops and other stores selling guns to secure their inventories to prevent looters from getting access to guns.  The headline for their story is misleading AND grossly sensational as it has nothing to do with race, but they play the race card nevertheless.

(AddictingInfo) –  A St. Louis area gun shop refused a sale to an African-American woman because, according to the clerk, St. Louis police informed gun stores that Darren Wilson will not be charged. To be clear, this was not an instance of racism (not in the traditional sense, anyway) — the shop was just in the process of removing all guns and ammunition from the premises, allegedly on the order of police.

“Did you notice the tractor trailer back there to our loading dock?” the man asked the woman, who responded with an affirmative. “All the guns are already packed in, and we’re taking all the pawns out of here too, just to protect our customers’ merchandise.”

“They’ve been saying that they’re gonna target gun stores and pawn shops,” the clerk told the woman. “This came from law enforcement; it’s what they told us. They sent out memos and everything.”

In other news, one of the “activists” looking for trouble found it.  She found herself taking a round in the head.  Her boyfriend claims she did it through careless gun handling, but police aren’t so sure his story isn’t one of those that should begin with “Once upon a time…” and end with “and they lived happily ever after”.

The Blaze.com called it well:  She bought a gun to handle violence in Ferguson. But she wasn’t ready to handle the gun.

ST. LOUIS (CNN/WISN) —A woman appears to have accidentally fatally shot herself in the head with a gun bought to prepare for possible Ferguson-related unrest, according to sources briefed on the police investigation.

The shooting occurred Friday night in downtown St. Louis, the city’s Metropolitan Police Department said, in an area dominated by vacant lots beside a football stadium.

The female victim, identified in a police report as Becca Campbell, 26, was a passenger in a car involved in an auto accident. Her 33-year-old boyfriend was driving, the sources told CNN.

…The investigation is continuing because police want to be sure the story as told by the boyfriend is correct, the sources said. Police are awaiting gun trace results, as part of the ongoing investigation.

Also from the bizarre category, an outspoken Missouri state senator claims she was confronted by a would-be armed carjacker Friday evening, but that she refused the “medium-complexion” black male’s demands and he ran away.

*cough* Bull stuff! *cough*

She tweeted about the incident as soon as it happened.

ST. LOUIS, Nov. 22 (UPI) — A Missouri state senator says she was accosted by an armed man who demanded her car Friday night, but that she refused to comply with the suspect.

State Sen. Jamilah Nasheed, a Democrat from Missouri’s 5th District, tweeted about the incident as soon as it happened:

Police say Nasheed, 41, was approached by a man after parking her car in front of her central west end home in St. Louis around 10:30 p.m. Friday. The man pulled a gun and demanded her keys.

Nasheed told KTVI that she said to the suspect, “I’m not going to give you anything.” When he threatened to kill her, Nasheed said, “Well, do what you’re going to do.”  The man then entered the back seat of a vehicle, which sped away.

Jammy Nasheed was the same woman who was arrested at a Ferguson protest some time back while carrying a Kel-tec pistol similar to the one George Zimmerman used to defend himself against Trayvon Martin in Florida.  Unconfirmed sources say Jammy was drunk that night as well.

Our money is on Jammy playing her role as an attention whore, fabricating an incident to build her credibility among her low-information constituents.  Time will tell.
