Moms Demand Action promised a big turn-out in Indianapolis for the NRA’s convention and annual meetings.
Bloomberg paid 120 people to attend.
Their dedication was so high that over half didn’t bother to show up after he paid them!

That’s about 75,000 fewer people than the number who attended the NRA convention.
If Moms really wanted some action, why weren’t they protesting in Chicago where a half-dozen people were killed this weekend?
(Buzzfeed) – Ten days after Michael Bloomberg announced a $50 million investment in gun control and proclaimed the National Rifle Association should be afraid of him, the Bloomberg-backed Everytown for Gun Safety group is taking the fight directly to NRA — picking up a chunk of the tab for hundreds of activists and gun violence survivors to attend the annual NRA convention in Indianapolis.
The group said that more than 100 mothers and 20 survivors of gun violence will arrive in Indianapolis on Friday. Everytown is covering the cost of the mothers’ hotels in Indianapolis, and paying the travel and lodging expenses for a group of 20 survivors to be in Indianapolis this weekend, an Everytown spokesperson told BuzzFeed.
Everytown would not disclose how much it was spending on the weekend, but said funds are from a combination of group’s money and fundraising efforts leading up to the convention.
How do I sign up for this “free” money if I don’t have to show up?
Actually, I wanted to show up at this “protest” with my “GSL” t-shirt on, but I wanted Sarah Palin to sign it first, I was there (at the NRA convention) but,….due to circumstanses beyond my control, …. I was crossing the street in front of Steak & Shake in my handicapped scooter cart and a “rice-rocket” rider almost “took me out” for good, …I’m brused but not broken, and still above ground breathin’, thank God. Missed the “Stand and Fight” rally, my dissapointment.
You GSL shirt would probably have gotten you physically removed by some of the armed security, and probably not very gently.
One can always tell who the “protesters” are that are being paid to be there. They all wear the same shirt, and carry the same sign(s).
Not one of them cared enough to come up with their own message. Probably not able to.
