The vile and repugnant Jason Whitlock of FoxSports penned an ignorant screed blaming the Second Amendment civil rights, and not a crazed, amoral savage murderer after a Kansas City Chiefs NFL player slayed his wife and then went to thank his coach before doing society a favor and killing himself at the team’s training facility.
Whitlock has bounced around from job to job and controversy to controversy thanks to his racist, bigoted true self peeking out from time to time. He was in true form as he later equated the National Rifle Association as the new Ku Klux Klan, arming black youths, “loading up our community with drugs” and fostering violence.
It’s time FoxSports dumped this Neanderthal mouth-breather. He’s an ignorant, angry black man with a small mind and a serious chip on his shoulder. Whitlock has nary a clue of the NRA’s role in fighting for firearm ownership rights of blacks in post-Civil War America from racists wanting to disarm “undesirables” of all sorts from gun ownership. Gun control laws were often aimed at keeping blacks disarmed, defenseless against the KKK.
It was blacks’ gun ownership that stopped Klan riders, not Civil Rights legislation.
Bob Costas obviously didn’t pay attention during his history classes. He repeated much of Whitlock’s diatribe at half-time during a Sunday evening football game, angering tens of millions of gun owners. Costas went in other media appearances to further dig himself into a hole, lamenting that Americans could “have a virtual militia purchased by mail order or purchased at gun shows. Why do you need a semi-automatic weapon?”
Costas, a man who wears makeup and has gotten plastic surgery to look nice while talking about the weighty subject of other men playing sports, further expounded, “It demonstrates itself in the Wild West, Dirty Harry mentality of people who actually believe that if a number of people were armed in the theater in Aurora, they would have been able to take down this nutjob in body armor and military style artillery,” he said.
Obviously, Mr. Costas doesn’t believe in Mr. Lincoln’s famous quote, “Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.”
NBC needs to send Mr. Costas to an early retirement, or it’s going to face declining ratings as American gun owners tune out from NBC Sports because of this bloviating moron.
Costas needs to fired and sent into retirement. He is a moronic insipid boob that knows nothing about the average American citizen who owns gun{s}. They commit less crimes than police do,and I’m a {as they say} PO-PO. I never heard of whitlock, but if he’s from the same ilk do away w/him.
