Note the “No Guns” sign just beside the cop’s shoulder. “NO GUNS” signage attracts America’s criminal class to ply their trade, and is why you should avoid such establishments.

Is hunting bad guys over “NO GUNS” signage akin to hunting deer using a salt block or feed?

We have to wonder as two thugs, aged 15 and 17, were shot dead right there when they picked a “NO GUNS” convenience store to rob in the Gresham neighborhood.

Well, they weren’t shot dead right there, they were shot and bled out right there.  No sadness there.

No good guys were hurt this time, unlike in 2011 where one of two armed robbers got shot dead at the same store, only in that incident, a clerk was wounded.

You would think that hoodlums would steer clear of Z&S Food & Liquor, with that store’s rich and vibrant history of thinning the criminal herd.  Perhaps these two future medical researchers thought they were going to be smarter than the last pair of thug-life aficionados.

It didn’t work out that way.  Scroll on down to see a photo of the two lying on the floor, gasping for air as they bled out.

Here’s the story as it appeared in the Tribune.

(Tribune) – Two would-be robbers were fatally shot at a liquor store in the Gresham neighborhood Saturday night, sources said.

The two were shot to death by a store employee about 8:30 p.m. when they tried to rob Z&S Food & Liquor in the 1300 block of West 87th Street, sources said.

Citing preliminary information, authorities said two people walked into the store, and one of them hopped over the counter.

That person hit the clerk standing behind the counter, while the other remained in front of the counter, authorities said.

Meanwhile, a relative of the store owner heard a commotion upstairs and saw the robbery suspects from a stairwell, authorities said.

He pulled out a gun and opened fire on the two, killing them, authorities said. At least one of them was armed with a gun.

Family members at the scene identified one of the suspects as William Larson, 17. Officials have not yet identified the other person. Preliminary information from authorities indicated that both were adult men.

And the story from the previous incident:

(Tribune) – An armed robbery erupted in gunfire at a Gresham neighborhood liquor store Thursday night. When it was over, one of two robbers had been fatally shot while struggling over a gun with a store clerk. And the clerk was then shot and wounded by the second robber, according to Chicago police.

The armed robbery took place about 10 p.m. at the store in the 1300 block of West 87th Street.

As one robber stayed outside, acting as a lookout, the other went inside and grabbed cash from the register, police said.

A clerk who was outside the store saw the robbery taking place, confronted the lookout and got into a struggle with him over the lookout’s gun, police said. The gun went off, killing the robber, police said.

The other robber then shot the clerk and fled, according to police.

Stupid sucks, doesn’t it boys?  But at least one thug had his pants half-off, just as Michael Jackson liked his little boys.
