You tired of getting stabbed in the back by supposedly pro-gun Republicans? You know the type: They claim they’re pro-gun at election time (cough… Mike Bost at the federal level, Senate Minority “Leader” John Curran at the state level) and then they vote for rabidly anti-gun bills and advocate for “common sense” gun control when they get to their offices.
The same goes for rabidly anti-gun Democrats. A generation ago there was a sizeable contingent of pro-gun Democrats. Not any more. The radicals took over at the local level and eventually drove the “moderate” Dems out of office.
Well, policy is made at the local level by people who show up – as you can see by the Dems in the past 30 years.
