Guns are good. Firearms are tools and they protect children. Guns save life.
Gun owners know these truths. At the same time, Scott Tallyn of Tallyn's Tactical Solutions in Peoria thinks that increasing the purchasing age for long guns to 21 "might help" reduce school massacres and violence. That's like a steak house claiming that PETA's vegan diets are healthier for not only people, but dogs as well.

C.I. Reacts to possible bump stock ban
PEORIA, Il. – …Central Illinois is reacting to the Presidents announcement. Gun control proponents have expressed little enthusiasm about the Presidents support for a new bill.
“We must do more to protect our children,” said President Trump.
In Peoria, Tallyn’s Tactical Solutions, which once sold the accessory bump stocks, has since taken them off the shelves.
“You're going to have some backlash, people already have them, probably a million of them are out there,” said Scott Tallyn, Owner of Tallyn’s.
The White House is also not ruling out that Trump may raise the age limit for buying military-style weapons an idea Tallyn agrees would help reduce black market purchasing.
“Right now it’s 18 years old to purchase a rifle, handguns you have to be 21 years of age, if they raise that 18 to 21 I don't think it’s going to fix everything it might help,” added Tallyn.

Tallyn's Tactical has some nice guns and some marvelous interior design talent.
It's a shame Mr. Tallyn knows more about selling guns that speaking to the media. Unless he's one of these gun company owners that thinks gun control is a good thing – like Mr. James Malarkey of X-Products.
