GUN VIOLENCE = GANG VIOLENCE: Chicago “Gun Violence” Memorial event sees 6 shot.

Chicago's gang violence continues to spiral out of control.  The media and politicians, of course, prefer to label it "gun" violence.  They call it "gun" violence because describing it as such allows them to ignore those responsible.  The timing for the Chicago Machine politicians couldn't have been worse.  It happened just as Donald Trump tweets that he's going to send in the feds if Rahm and crew can't get a handle on the rampant violence.

Sadly, the victims included the mother of the person killed earlier, and a 12-year-old girl.  NBC Chicago has the story:

Six people, including a 12-year-old girl, were shot Wednesday night on Chicago's South Side during a memorial for a victim of a previous act of gun violence, police said.

The shootings occurred about 8:16 p.m. in the city’s Greater Grand Crossing community in a "business establishment" on the 500 block of East 75th Street, Chicago police said.

Of course, those at the memorial failed to identify those responsible to police.

As of Wednesday night, no one was in custody and Area South detectives were investigating.

I think if someone tried to kill me, I'd be all over helping the police identify and capture the suspect(s).
