One lucky kid will win a .22 rifle!

That’s right:  It’s YOUTH NIGHT! at Guns Save Life’s September 8th meeting in Champaign, IL.

The address:  Fluid Events Center, 601 N. Country Fair Drive, Champaign, IL 61821.

We’re slated to have an archery range, one or more shooting simulators and a whole lot more and all that stuff gets underway around 5pm.  The meeting itself will start at 7pm and we’ll draw for prizes by 8:45 to make sure everyone gets home at a decent hour on a school night.

Also on the prize table will be a Daisy BB gun and a host of other goodies.

Bring your kids, grand-kids, kids’ friends and even the neighbor kids for a fun night of introducing them to gun rights advocacy and the fun of gun ownership.  We’ll have several organizations talking about opportunities for young people to shoot, both for beginners and competitively.  Bring them out and help them get involved in the shooting sports once the meeting gets underway.

Edit:  I screwed up and put September 7th down at first.  It’s Tuesday, September 8th.  Sorry about that.

  1. GREAT JOB!!!!! For the first event, this was a block to build upon for next year. I think some of the adults had just as much fun “playing” as the kids. Thank you to all of the organizations that came out and brought their equipment to introduce some of the GSL kids to the shooting sports. Getting youth involved is the only way an organization like GSL is going to survive, get them involved while they are young and keep them in the fold.

Thank you again to all that brought their equipment out on a monsoon rainy night!
